XXXXX DRUDGE REPORT XXXXX SUN OCT 03, 2004 14:05:38 ET XXXXX
DEBATE MYSTERY: DID KERRY HAVE CHEAT SHEET?
Section 5, pages 4-5 of the binding "Memorandum of Understanding" that was negotiated and agreed upon by both political campaigns states:
"No props, notes, charts, diagrams, or other writings or other tangible things may be brought into the debate by either candidate.... Each candidate must submit to the staff of the Commission prior to the debate all such paper and any pens or pencils with which a candidate may wish to take notes during the debate, and the staff or commission will place such paper, pens and pencils on the podium..."
So what did Dem presidential contender John Kerry take out of his jacket as he approached the stage [with his back to the auditorium's audience]?
What did Kerry place on the podium?
Video replays of the Kerry maneuver played all weekend long on the internet.
[A tight zoom of the Boston.Com feed shows Kerry pulling a mysterious "card" from his jacket. 14 seconds into video, after commerical]
A top Kerry campaign source explained to the DRUDGE REPORT late Sunday how Bush supporters were once again trying to distract.
"Kerry did not cheat," said the Kerry insider. "This is more lies from Republicans, who are hoping for a quick change of subject away from the president's performance, and the new polls."
Developing...
yes hershey they broke that rule also.
You bet...Old Gore trick.
KERRY CHEATED.
No it wasnt DU . It was another site i visit. The Dems will try to counter this with Bush having an earpiece.
THAT BASTARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is that the same Rove who was smart enough to trick CBS with the forged documents. If he was talking to Bush via ear piece during this debate than something certainly happened. Because he kept repeating himself over and over.
Getting caught cheating won't make any difference. In fact, the MSM will play that as a 'so what, he's cleverer than GW, hahahaha.' In fact, even if his military record became public and we found out there was something detrimental on it, such as that he'd gotten a dishonorable discharge, later cleaned up by Carter...the MSM would back him all the way. Other than being caught in the act of cold blooded murder, I can't think of anything Kerry could do that the MSM wouldn't think was swell.
The mods have posted more info from Drudge in the front and Drudge is now reporting that a closeup shows Kerry pulled a note card from his pocket NOT a pen assome have suggested.
That's not the point. Cheating, regardless of its result, is not okay in and of itself, especially beyond the high school debating team level.
I'd like to think if Rove was prompting the president that we'd have had a better debate.
Amazing to think about what the left would have made up if the president had actually done really well! They'd have said there was an actor playing him on stage or something. LOL
Kerry is right handed, right handed men keep pens in their left pocket and pull them out with their right hand. In the video Kerry used his left hand to pull the object out of the right side of his jacket, had he done it the other way it would have been more exposed to the front camera...he is caught left(red) handed...
The comment about Bush having an earpiece was a joke. On top of that, they are visible, and anybody can see he is not wearing one.
heres what the umocrats will counter with.

"Are we ever going to be really prove he broke the rules? "
Hmmm, see video of the footage. Neither candidate was even allowed to bring their own pen to the podium. So yes, he did break the rules.
CHEAT SHEET? - ping
I am not saying that if Kerry broke the rules, then Bush wins the debate. I am saying if he cheated, he cheated. People don't like cheaters.
anyone know how to save the boston globe video?
i tried looking my temporary folder and saw the file but it was in .dat format, tried to change it back to the .wmv format but it wouldn't work

It could be, but as I said I was so angry when I posted the first time [that post is not on the page] I made mistakes in typing and punctuation, probably even in spelling.
As I have told all of you I am 81 years of age,not OLD. I have been a political junky since 1940, and I wasn't eligble to vote for 4 years.
Stick with me, age should give us a little wisdom if we look for facts and read BOTH sides.
I rely on many facts from the "The World Almanac and Book of Facts".
If you want to see a deficit check 1936,the deficit is larger than our receipts. The first year Roosevelt ran for reelection.
My third post this afternoon, I'm with all of you who try to find the truth.
