This new, poignant Swift Boat ad, begins airing tomorrow. HUMAN EVENTS has obtained the 60-second ad that features brief comments by the wives of former Vietnam-era POWs, expressing their feelings about Kerry’s questionable post-war activities. According to sources near the Swift Boat organization, $1.4 million will be spent to get this most recent message out. The ad will appear nationally on cable, and on broadcast TV in Pennsylvania, New Mexico, and Nevada.

TRANSCRIPT, "Never Forget"
Mary Jane McManus: Three months after we were married, my husband was shot down over Hanoi.

Phyllis Galanti: Paul and I were married in 1963. Two years later he was shot down over North Vietnam.

MCMANUS: All of the prisoners of war in North Vietnam were tortured in order to obtain confessions of atrocities.

Galanti: On the other hand, John Kerry came home and accused all Vietnam veterans of unspeakable horrors.

McManus: John Kerry gave aide and comfort to the enemy by advocating their negotiating points to our government.

Galanti: Why is it relevant? Because John Kerry is asking us to trust him.

McManus: I will never forget John Kerry?s testimony. If we couldn?t trust John Kerry then, how could we possibly trust him now?

Gee, he actually seems to have gained two new recruits. Last time I looked, only one guy in the photo supported him...

Never mind ... I just read where Kerry was able to coax a couple of the neutrals over ... just seems that, if my memory recalls correctly, that the one or two only's that used to be depicted in this picture of support for Kerry were different, i.e. someone perhaps quit supporting him? May just be my limited recall... obviously having only one person supporting him in the 'morphed' photo was better than having 3 ... just trying to remember that one or two that used to be there.

Help support the Swiftees

Done! Another $50 well spent.

Better money now than blood later. That's what it's about.

Firts two ads were great, the third didn't hit the mainstream at all, they will have to work to get this next ad in a good position. Maybe the swifties have run their course, but the damage has ben done befor. We should be thankfull, was a good job.

I wasn't using a figure of speech. I meant real blood. Whose would be hard to predict at this point. That of innocent Americans certainly, as the terrorists are emboldened by a Kerry election, and the actions of a President Kerry (gag!).

If this ad gets wide enough exposure, it may give some viewers pause to think of all those families - wives, children, parents, etc. that also suffered back then. Go Swifties!

The Swiftvets need to get Steve Pitkin involved, and show Kerry testifying before the Senate Committee about how he can't describe the emotions at the Winter Soldier "hearings" in Detroit. Steve could say that he knows how to describe it, it was all lies!
At the Vietnam Vet rally in D.C., Steve said that when in Detroit, they soon realized that he, Steve, was the only REAL combat vet in the room.

That's easy - they'll just come up with some forged documents proving the Swifties were never in Viet Nam! Then, when the forgeries are proven, they'll claim the story is accurate anyway.

It could - that just takes money. If each reader of this thread donated $100 I bet they could buy another state!
