Did the President Lie About Iraq?
In every political campaign, there is an issue which rises to the surface and dominates the debate...

Lol, quite a few Freepers need to go to the wood shed.
Great post!
"There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance--that principle is contempt prior to investigation.--Herbert Spencer.
I've been taken to the ol' wood shed a couple of times myself. Thanks.
This time it should be you on the administering end ;-)
I've been accused of "misleading" some folks by not posting the entire article, which would have ruined the point of it.
If we are so easily misled, think of the uniformed "middle" out there who fall prey to the media?
Bush should use this article in the debates!
I wondered if Kerry had any homeboys.
Funny, they don't look like Massachusetts liberals.LOL!!
Maybe you ought to read the article befoe you comment to the poster
Seriously! I am so, so weary about posting things here on FR that require the reader to understand sarcasim, humor or irony.
rightinthemiddle, Your first post said "Be sure to read the entire article."
People here (that usually agree with eachother) over-react too often. Why not start by giving you the benefit of the doubt, reading the article and rebutting it if they disagreed.
Obviously, if they read the article, they'd have gotten it... and agreed.
Maybe you should read all the posts before you make your self-righteous comments. See posts numbers 20 & 26.
That is what I thought, the title of the article should of been.... DID FORMER PRESIDENT CLINTON LIE ABUOT IRAQ?
I encourage you to read the posts...it's a classic example of how people are affected by headlines in the media.
I know people here will agree with the article. However, if we react this way, how will the average joe interpet the headlines? Are we being thorough when we look at the information out there? It seems to me it's what FR does best...ask Dan Blather.
Thinking is not hard work!
Yup. Gotta read them all!
(I hate hate the headline, too.)
What don't you forward the article to John Kerry, maybe he can use it in the debate, of course , John Kerry will misread it too, not realizing it Bill Clinton who made the quotes about WMD in Iraq.
You are correct.
Take a look at this post: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1226475/posts#6
So many Freepers mised the posters sharp sarcasim and made themselves look... umm.... really bad.
Reminds me of the "trick test" a teacher gave us in Elementary school, that said be sure to read all the directions before taking this test. Of course, no one does, they begin to take the test, Not realizing that the last direction , last sentence in the test, is to not answer any of the questions.
He he! Good idea but he'd just blame his staff again.
