This guy is just a liar. I don't own a gun, I'll never own a gun, I'm very pro-second amendment, but I don't know much about guns. But I DO know this, no one would describe a rifle as a "communist chinese" rifle. Who makes the AK-47s? The Russians, no? Have you ever heard it describes as a "Communist Russian Ak-47"? Don't the Israelis make the Uzi? Have you ever heard it describes as "the Zionist Israeli Uzi".

Well, Kerry could have been lying to score points with his audience of the moment. This is the most likely explanation.
Or, he could have whatever license it takes in MA to own an "assault rifle" and keeps it in a safe somewhere, and renews the lic whenever it expires (you need to take a course of some sort, right?). This is very unKerrylike. Someone should ask him what type of licence he has and in what city it was issued.
He could have had a real Chinese Full-Auto AK47 with bayonet and so on, demilled and is a wallhanger souvenir to remind people that he served. This is Kerrylike, especially if he forgets to tell people it is demilled and he bought it at Cabelas on sale. Kerry is like all liberals. If it's his gun, he will just give it to his body guard. Only peons can't own these guns. Rich patricians own what they want. Case closed.

He's lying about the rifle. How can you tell? You can see his lips moving.
Kerry lies about everything. He lied about the rifle, and he lied when he was asked "what was the biggest deer he ever got."
When he was asked that question, Kerry said (quote not exact), "Oh, I don't know about 8 points, something like that, nothing too big. But I saw one one time, something like 16 points, but I failed to shoot at the appropriate time,"
C'mon hunters. Have at it. Could ANY deer hunter possibly not know EXACTLY how many points his buck had? It's not even like Kerry has shot so many that this particular one gets blurred in his memory. Kerry admitted that he hasn't deer hunted much. But when asked what his biggest buck was, he claims he's not sure how many points, but it was something like 8. Get outta here.
Also, he tells a classic, "I saw a big deer story." Yeah, so what. First of all, I'm not going to take Kerry's word for it being a 16-pointer. I doubt most people could tell a 16 until they were made happy by a warm gut pile. To count 16 points reliably, you pretty much have to get the buck down on the ground to do it. So, if Kerry had that much time to count points, why didn't he shoot? He's such a girlie-man poseur.

Okay. Parsing that statement (and you really have to do that with Democrats), I find nothing in it that is actually saying he owns any such thing.
Since he claims to have been a Naval Officer (in Vietnam), he should certainly know exactly what an assault rifle is, but I don't think he has one, demilled or otherwise.
When Kerry talks here about his M-16 rifle being his favorite weapon, let's not forget his highly publicized claim on the TV interview (just after his congressional testimony) where he admitted to committing various atrocities. He stated (paraphrasing) that he used 50-calibre machine guns against the VC, they being the only weapons given him by the higher-ups! No mention of his favorite weapon then...
This puke has been an anti-american liar his entire life.
