Howdy.
Today, the DC Chapter met to celebrate 6 years of activism. The honor roll included Kristinn, Angelwood and husband, tgsltakoma, bufordp, staytrue, billf, hellinahandcart, trueblackman, rabidralph, sauropod and relatives, and gunsareok.
We celebrated our successes over the past years and recounted narrow escapes, including BufordP and the Red Lobster story.

We are working on a DVD of some of our "greatest hits" (esp. the last couple of years.). Hopefully, I'll be able to hand you one in January.

Angelwood was there. MrConfettiMan is doing okay.
We've been putting off this meeting all summer because of scheduling conflicts. We had a bunch of those today but needed to meet with whoever could attend today to plan for the fall, hence quite a few familiar faces were not there today :-(

We had a great time today. Thanks go to tgslTakoma for welcoming the group to her home and to BufordP for making the hamburgers just right.

Hey, everyone! Get a load of the shirt that hellinahandcart is wearing in one of the photos. Her top has flip flops in different shapes, colors and decorations all along the bottom -- it's perfect for a Kerry freep! Also, she helped me put together the mini signs for the cake and used her artist's eye to place them just so.
