The source of a disputed CBSNEWS report claimed Thursday that Kerry adviser Joe Lockhart tried to "convince me as to why I should give them the documents." Texas Army National Guard Lt. Col. Bill Burkett tells the FORT WORTH STAR-TELEGRAM that he has suffered four seizures since being identified as CBS' source and dogged by the media... Developing...

Anyway, he is right, how come the entire Democrat/move on/Kerry campaign/MSM/leftist movement was working in concert on the TANG issue? It was like they were all being orhcestrated from on high, each with their own part. The "Fortunate Son" phase of the Kerry campaign; Terry McAuliffe pushing hard on the "Bush was AWOL and we will prove it" thing, Kerry on "sugar-coating"...all curiously building up to Rather, Mapes, and Lockhart getting Burkett to agree to be the 'source'.
COME ON! The source is the Kerry campaign, everyone knows it. Now let's find the trail!

I'm ROFL here Dog. The RATS are biting each other. Burkett tells Rather he deceived CBS. Lockhart says he and Burkett didn't discuss the documents. Burkett says Lockhart wanted the documents. I have to stop, I'm hyperventilating with glee. And yes - I'm GLOATING!!!! And I eagerly anticipate Rush tomorrow!

The fate of the losers inexplicably tied together.
You know before Rathergate I was a little nervous about November. Right now I'm thinking landslide. Lockhart has reminded us of the Clinton's and Monicagate.
Kerry has reminded decent people why and what they don't like about him after today.

Maybe not since Burkett was in the Army National Guard and not the Air National Guard. That is one point that Rather likes to blur. Supposedly there was a difference in the way they abbreviated things and such.
I wonder if he is still considered un-impeachable?

I think he is the kind of person that probably would make an audio recording of such a conversation. If he did, now he is an "unimpeachable source".!!!

There is nothing good that can come out of mocking the guy's ill health. If someone says they are having siezures, the media/campaign hacks should lay off. He obviously has done and said all that is necessary. He needs a good lawyer and a good doctor.
Just the whole continuing story in the MSM keeps JF'nK off-balance and unable to focus well on Bush!!!
Mapes had to have told Lockhart about the memos. He's not going to get on the phone for just anybody -- that was Burkett's early complaint in his Texas Democrat forum. Nobody would give him the time of day at the Kerry headquarters. Later, he said that he was talking to the upper echelon and was very excited about pending news before the broadcast.

Seems there will be a secret witness program just for these folks.
What's sad is many in our Congress would not be able to have priviledge to the info. Enemies of the state.

If people don't lose jobs and go to jail over this,
every election from now on will feature a blizzard
of fake documents (and not as obvious as these).
If no prosecutions result, lobby Congress for an
investigation.
