Loved the way President Bush clarified that poll as being taken before the Americans turned Iraq over to the Iraqis...and then went on to discuss other polls....it was a beautiful thing!

Oh, kcvl, I am so sorry to hear that about Ben Gazarra. Darn.
Yes, he's Gregory's Dad. Don Imus asks about him about his father often. I liked him as well...

you may call them 'canned' while others call them "consistent"...
if you mean what you say and say what you mean you don't have to change your positions like the Traitor does!!
Comprendo?

"Before I address the assertion that a US General has asked for more tropps (I spoke with him this morning), I want to speak with him again. I just read Abizaid's comments, and they did misrepresent what he said, the bastards. He said more Iraqi troops will need to be trained in time for the elections. The press report said that made possible the need for more American troops in Iraq. He never hinted at that.

I hope you have had a chance to see the (separate) photos of W with the heads of Pakistan and India. They are
BOTH glad that a strong leader is in office in the US.

IMO The press is afraid to go to Iraq.....They have no idea that 7/8 of the country is peaceful. If the reports about the media there is correct....they're spending their time in the hotel bars and sensationalizing the reporting to "keep their jobs". If they reported the good news, they wouldn't be needed, would be sent home and taken off their lavish expense accounts. They'd probably be in more danger in some of our inner cities.

After the press conference, John King says you "might call this the Kerry rebuttal". He says we can't overstate how much this president has invested in this Iraqi prime minister.
Rahm Emanuel says, my problem is when you continue to restate the same problem, or don't admit you've made mistakes, and we've lost 1,000, and if you don't admit you have a problem, doing more of the same, is a mistake. Quotes Hagel, and other RINO's complaints about the war.
Congresswoman Iliaa Ross Layton (R FL), says. my good friend Rahm is wrong. The president HAS a plan, that the missison is a working one, and we support our troops, and I think the president is right about Keerry sending a mixed message..it's wrong to do that. nohting will deter us.
David Gregory on MSNBC, says the White House has no choice, the president has made it clear, he is not going to give an inch, that even if it's hard, we've got to stick to it.
Now MSNBC has on Jamie Rubin, spokesman for Kerry, Reporter asks why don't you believe the Prime Minister of Iraq, we understand why you might now believe Bush....rubin claims this was a pr set up in the Rose Garden. Rubin is telling viewers why the AMerican people don't believe the president.

My question would be "Mr. President, do you believe it is harmful to the Iraqi people to have the American media only reporting the negative things going on there?" BUMP!

Dead Soldiers Meanwhile, Kerry has assembled the most despicable cast of has-beens and failed officials in campaign history. He's represented by the likes of Jamie Rubin a Clintonite who so loved America that he moved to London, returning to our shores only to tell real Americans how we need to vote.
Putting Rubin on the talk-show circuit demonstrates how badly the Democratic elite is out of touch with the country it claims to represent. With his permanent sneer and his condescending snicker, Rubin represents nearly all that working Americans and our troops despise about today's Dems.
To: Howlin
Tell John King that the AMERICAN PEOPLE will decide what the deciding factor in this election will be, NOT John sKerry!

You know it's amazing just how stupid J F'n K is being by saying the prime minister is being unrealistic, this guy is there on a daily basis, and you couldn't get f'n to go without his white flag to meet with his supporters over there, you don't suppose he could teach them how to surrender properly or do you think they will die from the confusing flip-flops? Either way would be fine with me as long as he joined in on the process with surrendering

Listen last question wendell then I think it is time to head into the air-conditioning. Wendell?
>> Mr. President, for the past couple of days, you have been talking about the consequences of the mixed messages you say john kerry sends. I want to ask you, sir, do you mean immediate consequences not just if the senator is elected, do you mean that the messages being sent now have a negative effect on the effort in iraq, and does making the war in iraq a part of the campaign also have consequences on the situation there, sir?

Thank you and your fellow countrymen and women for your support in fighting terrorism in Iraq and around the world.
You of all people realize the terror of a brutal dictator!
And it is like you and others who have suffered under tyranny who appreciate freedom and liberty.
We can only hope and pray that those two Italian ladies are not murdered and are returned to safety.
But no matter what happens we must all realize that we can either fight terrorism in Iraq or fight terrorism in our own countries!
Freedom is not free!
Ciao bella!

How embarrassing, these reporters, the same ones who poke fun at conservatives lack of worldliness, are acting like provincial, uninformed hacks. Way too much kool aid showing at this press conferance!LOL!
That is exactly why Alawii gave his geography lesson to them....they NEEDED it because they are refusing to allow America to know that by FAR AND LARGE most of Iraq is peaceful and safe and ready for elections, in his words, TOMORROW!
