John Edwards should withdraw from a losing campaign and represent him. Together, an empty suit pretty boy and a mental patient could end up owning Viacom.
2. And it's a way to cease responding to further questions, due to "pending litigation".
Neat.
bawahahahahahaha
I'm sorry .. but I can't help but laugh ..
This is all so bizarre .. every day it's something new
You got it. It is a play to keep everyone from finding out what we need to know.
Is that sorta like being invited to a jammie party, then finding out its just you, Ann, Laura, and Michele, and Heather Nauert is there to provide coverage?
OMG, this just gets better and better. Maybe old Burkett isn't as dumb as everyone thought.
He's gonna get a big payoff from Rather/CBS.
See my post #5. It won't go to trial. They will sign a mutual nondisclosure.
LOL!
Dont forget his lawyer is Van Os! This is just rich! The jist of Burketts suit...
a) Tell the world Im not a loony tune
b) Pay up big time
Well, at least I get to stream Malzberg, Curtis & Kuby three hours earlier!
my non lawyer 2 cents..when he lied about his source he broke any contract he had with CBS and they were free to out him he also defrauded them with the lie..they did get one out of 4 people to authenticate the docs..(well thats if you include Rather)...

"Burkett could be "JimMCDougaled"."
Or Boorda'ed, Or Fostered, Or Yerkeyed thoeugh I guess McDougaled is the most apt verb.
This guy is certifiable; the more he talks the better it is for Bush.
And he makes anybody else who talks about Bush's TANG service look like a complete whack job.
What does Dan Rather think of the truth?
> Of course it would be unethical if
> they had paid him for his interview.
They probably negotiated this in advance: "if you play the fall guy, we'll find a way to compensate you."
Rather still has a job? The longer he stays on, the more CBS heads should roll.
