Last night we noticed our neighbors across the street putting up Christmas lights. This drew our attention and then we saw the big sign on their garage:
WELCOME HOME SON
We Are Very Proud of You
Thanks For Fighting For Our Freedom

From the bottom of my heart, I say welcome home, Chris, and a huge thanks for your service. At the same time, I just wish I could put my arms around my Marine son who just got back too, and who hasn't been able to make it home to our house in our state yet. Hopefully, that will happen some time in the next month, and you can bet we're going to have bells, whistles, lights, etc. too!!

Chris, you stud, welcome home and God bless!!

Welcome home, Chris, and walk tall. Today's heroes and role models for children wear uniforms! You are defending freedom and there can be no better calling. Thank you for being one of the brave and selfless.

I am glad you are home too son. Thank you and all your buddies. Sorry some didn't make it home. It is hard to tell if we should even be there now. We had to go, and I am sure the President will get us out after the elections. God bless each and every son and daughter in harm's way.

I'll leave it to others (especially freeper vets) to give the military "welcome back".
I'll just say that anyone who braved bullets, bombs AND a place hotter than the
hottest days in Oklahoma and Texas is one h-ll of a warrior.
And if he wants to keep up on events "over there", he might listen over the net
to Capt. Dale Dye (USMC, Ret.) at this URL on Sundays, 5-7PM Pac Time:
