The latest issue of "Section 9" is up. I have a comments thingie below my posts. Tell me whatcha think. It's my take on where we stand strategically as we go into the last month of the election.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
I like your thinking on the Bush "Schwerpunkt", but the page ends in the middle of your discussion of Wisconsin.
The timing and effect of the DUI story on Christian voters should not be understimated. Bush was leading comfortably prior to its release. I'm not worried though. If there were any substantiated new revelations we would have heard them by new. At this point, the left is reduced to producing phony evidence for charges that voters have heard before and didn't care about. We know Bush all about President Bush's character. He has been in the public eye for quite some time now.
Mason Dixon and CNN/Gallup each have Bush up by 2 in MN. So it is trending hardway towards Bush!
All in all, it was a typically well conceived and written effort.
By the way, it's "ersatz," not erzatz (I should know; it's one of my favorite words), and it's not the controversy which is ersatz, but the memos. :)
Thanks for the head's up.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

Bad news, Chris . . . your mag cover is still a red X.
His communications strategies are based on the assumption that the media in 2004 are much the same as they were in 2000. He assumes a pro-Democrat and unchallenged MSM. Helloooo. Missed another bet, Bucko.

Yob tvoyu maht, Kerry - and have a nice day.
Agreed. I think the turning point was that first Swift Vets ad, myself.
Now, Kerry's crashing and burning.
Well, I haven't agreed with you over the sole issue of Fallujah strategy in the past, but I think your election analysis is spot-on and exactly right.
Good luck with your blog.
Sincerely, -AJC
I have a tough time believing a twenty year old DUI story turned off several MILLION Christian, forgiveness being their forte'.
On the other hand, I can recall some serious soul-searching on the part many evangelicals as it became more clear the Republican leadership was quite comfortable with the status quo vis a vis abortion. This despite the loyal service those same evangelicals were investing in the GOP.
Personally, I believe the "where else are they gonna go" attitude of the GOP hierarchy nearly cost them the election.
