DRUDGE SIREN:
CBS Guard Documents Traced to Texas Kinko's...
WASH POST: Documents allegedly written by deceased officer that raised questions about Bush's service with Texas National Guard bore markings showing they had been faxed to CBS News from a Kinko's copy shop in Abilene, Texas... Developing...
If Kinkos had a standing account with Burkett, would they have used a card of some kind for payment that could be linked to Burkett? Second, would they have listed his name by some account record?
To answer the other part, a civil action could be brought by a local attorney representing a private party who was damaged by the memo. Bush and Killian come to mind. Of course, CBS as well, but don't hold your breath.
Heres another thought- What if the documents were sent to Abilene and then collected then faxed to CBS news.
LOLOL!!!
This is my first post on Free Republic. I've read it for over a year now but this is thread is just too good to pass up! Right Wing and Lovin' it!
With this speed of light thread going on here, I had to stop to tell you that your line just about made me fall out of the chair laughing. Now to get back to the chase!!
Even the Boston Globe has investigated Burkett and found his tales dubious. Here is a link:

Send in Janet Reno. She gets things done in texas.
One person can attempt. A conspiracy is a plan among two or more to commit a crime, plus one act advancing toward the commission of that act.
Basically, one person attempts. Two or more conspire.
CBS News' reporting determined that the source of the memos had access to the documents he provided and an opportunity to obtain copies of them.
CNN, 2-13-2004
(CNN) -- A former officer in the Texas National Guard said Thursday he once overheard a conversation in which there was a request to sanitize President Bush's Guard records during Bush's tenure as Texas governor.
Soon afterward, he said, he saw Bush's Guard performance review in a trash can.
Then, about 10 days later, he said, he came across "files on a table."
"But I also saw at the edge of that table a roughly 15-gallon, old metal waste can. At the top of that were several pages, 20 to 40 pages approximately," Burkett said
"I glanced down at the top of those documents. In ink was the word 'Bush, George W., 1 Lt.'
Almost certainly in Austin.
So has anyone from FR hit this Kinko's yet?
It was probably Doctor Rauol ( may have spelled that wrong?)
I don't know if you have seen this.....
bttt
Looks like the gang is all there.
Not exactly. Same streetcorner, though.
She is definitely a possible intersection in the form of a single person. In the Democratic party, related to Dan Rather and CBS News.
