DRUDGE SIREN:
CBS Guard Documents Traced to Texas Kinko's...
WASH POST: Documents allegedly written by deceased officer that raised questions about Bush's service with Texas National Guard bore markings showing they had been faxed to CBS News from a Kinko's copy shop in Abilene, Texas... Developing...
Seems most of the net is zeroing in on the burkett link
Littlegreenfootballs ratherbiased and whizbang all have it
Nah...if they paid with a DNC Visa card....THAT would be the best part of all!!
Subpoena the telephone records from the fax machines, from all area Kinkos's.
Thanx pal..Just trying to do my part here..Phoned up CBS and emailed them too tonight and gave then my 2 cents on Ratherscam..Anything for the cause..
LOL!
Thats the way that Rather will spin it!
Exactly right. Are any Freepers on the scene yet?
Not in late night hours.
But what they weren't counting on were the Days of Our Freepin' Lives.
You are right, but maybe this will get us closer to the source on how CBS obtained them. And then the pieces will fall into place.
That's what I was thinking. Let me know if you get an answer to that one.
Ann Coulter is good friends with Drudge, and she likely was tipped off to the Kinko's thing earlier today (Wed. Sept. 15).
I remember those "Cheaties" very well!
I've rented computers at Kinko's recently. It is a very restrictive environment. I imagine the files get wiped when you log out. But, the apparent haste with which the forged documents were created is suggestive of a rented computer.
Burkett has been hiding out from the media.....doubt if he would drive to Abilene with her. My guess is that she was the one that sent the fax, not him. She went to Baird to interview him, according to CBS. My guess is that she probably composed the docs on her laptop while interviewing him at his home, then went to nearest Kinko's to fax them prior to catching a flight back to NYC.
No sooner than the 60 Minutes interview aired with Killian's secretary claiming that the content in the fake memos were on target, this comes along to knock it off the radar. Impeccable timing, that. And it was the Washington Post too.
Check out "Brownwood" Texas. Some indications Ben Barnes lives or lived there.
I don't know...the husband was in that Kinko's a few weeks ago; I'll ask him.
In Texas, 20 miles is around the corner. I dare say most folks in Baird go into "town" (Abilene) at least once a week. Sure there are FAX machines in Baird, these docs might have been prepared on a Kinko's computer to keep Burkett's hard drive clean. Same reason you'd want to use an "untraceable" fax.
The issue here is not that Bill Burkett is a liberal. It isn't even that he is left wing. The issue is that he is loony left. We are in "precious bodily fluids" territory. I'm not calling Burkett a Democrat because I think he is too far left to be a Democrat. This is the left wing version of the John Birch Society.
Not only are Bill Burkett's politics loony left but he is trying to be a political player, writing editorials and trying to sway the American people against George Bush and the Republican Party.
