This old lady is a nasty, snide BITCH! What do you expect from a member of the "anyone but Bush" crowd?

I just ran Marian Knox's name on the Houston voter registration database. She is an active partisan Democrat. She's voted in every Democrat primary except for one since 1994 (the oldest records I have) and that year she didn't vote.

LMAO!! I love your quote after your name!!

And tonight she talked about how nice Bush treated her. She was lying her ass off. Ya think? :-) They're making it worse for themselves. Fine with me.

Not only did she dispute the memo's and claim that is what he was thinking, if there were memo's that did say that, where are they, and why isn't she mad that someone else was doing her job at that time. I would be mad as hell if I was someone's personal secretary and someone else was doing my job. And Dan, as journalistic as he did, did not even ask her who that could have been.

Thanks Howlin. Here is my take on this pile of garbage tonight.. Dan Rather knows his days are numbered at CBS.. so he is going to slander President Bush as much as he can before he is forced out. He will have fulfilled his duties to the Dems and he will retire and run for congress.

Just for the record, did Knox actually say that she typed a memo in which Killian ordered Bush to take a physical, which he was past due to take? No, she did not.
But it hasn't occurred to her OR Rather that the physical wasn't due for two months. Why would he be ordering him to take a physical before it was due?

>>Relax, folks, and back off on the 'addled old biddy' stuff. She's contradicted herself so many times, no one is going to take this seriously, particularly after the 'selected, not elected' remark she made a couple of days back. This isn't going to save See-BS's bacon<<<
Well lets hope the average viewer know s she contradicted herself like we do.
I am not so confident most people watching know the Guard service members took their physical on their birthday and this was memo was dated in May.
To: sinkspur
Yup. You're getting the idea. If this interview becomes a problem, and I don't think it will because she's so blatantly contradicting herself, it can be dealt with while simultaneously conforming to our shared the cultural norm of being nice to little old ladies.

Look... Marian Knox Carr doesn't like Bush. I give her credit for being straightforward but I can't say the same about CBS. The Tiffany Network isn't in this for the truth. Even their own witness says there's nothing to the memos and all the rest is simply her opinion. Rather and Co simply don't have legs to stand on. Or rather, they continue to be the story.

"Could you imagine doing this in a trial?"Can't wait to see her testify before congress! Wonder if Rather clued her in on where this thing might go?

Could this be a lay-up -- getting ready to say he didn't take his physical because he was afraid of drug testing? There's a rumor that CBS is just laying groundwork with this. THe left has been claiming it's because he eas hooked on coke

Okay. What's the verdict on this old woman? Did she have a thing on the President? Did he turn her down or something? It seems like she really hates him.
To: PJ-Comix
even if they are forged, they are STILL correct. Do you think this report constitutes his official confession? The documents are forgeries, meant to illegally influence a US Presidential election?
Comes time for Rather to go to court, they may just have the forger in custody. I assume it wasn't Rather, to be clear.
