Did anybody catch Special Report with Brit Hume? again, Juan Williams had to be sent to a time out--big baby--by Brit and Mort Kondracke--because he insists on talking about the contents of the memos even though they are frauds...
he keeps saying Bush disobeyed a direct order to take a physical... Brit and the others said, "the memos are frauds..." and then Juan had the stupidity to say something like, "just because these are frauds doesn't mean there wasn't a memo in existence that ordered him to take the physical..." and Brit and you can't base a story on a memo that you're not even sure exists or not...
*sigh*
Like I said: EVERYTHING good always happens when I have to work and can't see it.
I'm just going to ask Jim if he can make a link to my work schedule on the FR homepage so y'all can just click on it and say, "Oh, Flagg's working tomorrow night? Well, I'd better set my VCR for some BREAKING NEWS because SOMETHING'S GONNA HAPPEN!!"

Exactly. If the information was "accurate," they could have brought witnesses on the show who could have slammed Bush everywhichway without any documents. Now CBS is tunneling down the drains to dredge up an 86-year-old who "remembers" different versions of the story, Depending upon the day of the week she's asked.
And as an earlier poster mentioned, who gives a rat's patoot whether W had a physical in 1972 or not. More to the point, where the heck are Kerry's current medical records and why haven't they been released? A candidate currently on drugs is a much bigger story than 32-year-old rumor. Could it possibly be that Dan knows Kerry is on drugs and hastened to find anything that might possibly insinuate that at some point in his life W smoked a joint?

agreed and the best B!*ch Slap is to ask any journalist that acts like Juan, "so you would tell an understudy that you are mentoring that it is OK to go to press with a story where your two authenticating experts claim your documents are false, half of the people you interviewed told you the exact opposite of your opinion and those that agree with you are partisan political hacks, one of which was involved in the Sharpton Scandel that ruined his political career?" That usually ends the debate quickly.
Sorry Charlie, that's where you are wrong. I flipped between Hume and that stellar source of "fair" SEE BS News, tonight, and you cannot imagine the comparison. It's no wonder that Brit has captured all the ratings.
Yep, you missed something on Swift Vets being proven wrong.
Here is the irrefutable evidence that the Swift Vets are lying dogs:
1. Kerry had to admit that he had not encountered enemy fire EVER prior to and for nine days after his self-inflicted wound that resulted in his "first purple heart"
2. Kerry had to admit that he was not in Cambodia for the Christmas that was "seared, seared into" him.
3. Kerry's own biography and multiple versions of the "no man left behind" dramatic rescue of Rassmann contradicts the purple heart awarded for that incident.
4. Kerry has had to admit that, well, maybe the other boats didn't flee the scene while his boat alone helped the swift boat disabled by the mine. In fact every boat except for his stayed to help while his turned tail and took off down the river.
5. The after action report, recently released from Navy Archives, AND VERIFIED AS AUTHENTIC BY THE NAVY, clearly shows that Kerry's Silver Star (with illegal combat "V") was won, not by facing a force vastly superior in numbers, but rather by chasing down a lone VC teen, already wounded in the leg with a .50 caliber bullet, and shooting him in the back, behind a hootch.
So, you can clearly see that Kerry, by yielding to the facts and recanting his stories has completely proven the Swift Vets to be lying.
And Dan Rather will vouch for the authenticity of his stand.
You must have noticed that the MSM is continuously saying every chance they get that the Swift Vets were completely debunked. lol, man what BS.....
Not to change the subject, but on another thread there was a quote by Fred Thompson (I think) where he compared the Kerry team changes to a circular firing squad. Can anyone direct me to that thread/quote? (Okay, so I lied about changing the subject but I think the remark qualifies for the quote of the day.)

I don't watch SeeBS. It's a waste of time for me. What I was saying was that Brit is TOO good for the likes of Juan and Mara. I believe he could get a Democrat/liberal who, when faced with the undeniable truth, could say, "You're right, and I was wrong" instead of playing devil's advocate or towing the party line, or just being a dumba$$.
Mort is a great guy,but he is afraid to say boo to a fly.:-(

IMHO, Brit has the best news show on TV. In fact, I do everything I can, NOT to miss his show every single night. And the fact that he has Mara and Juan on just add to the amusement. Especially when he swats Juan down, like he did tonight. Or shows his caring towards Mara's chronic cough, like he did last night.

I've heard Williams and others say the SwiftVets' charges have been discredited, but I haven't seen that information. Someone recently reported (Major Garrett?) that Kerry's Christmas in Cambodia has been shown to be a lie and his campaign has admitted that "possibly" it is true that Kerry's first PH came from a non-intentional self-inflicted wound.
