FREEPERS WANTED FOR ACTION

Posted on 09/12/2004 11:10:57 AM PDT by jdluntjr

WANTED – FREEPERS FOR ACTION--- NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

The election is only about eight weeks away now. Freepers have already demonstrated their value.

I'm looking for some freepers that want to join me in getting our message out to the uncommitted voters. It's critical that we work diligently to show those who have not made a commitment that George W. Bush is the person to lead us the next four year and that John Kerry is “Unfit for Command.”

In a nutshell we will orchestrate a letter to the editor campaign to show why George Bush should be President and why John Kerry is a disaster in the making. In spite of the mainstream media's attacks on Dick Cheney, he is absolutely right when he says this is a critical choice for the future especially the war on terror.

We are looking for people, with an interest in helping to coordinate this effort.

We will need some good researchers who can put together concise well documented talking points.

We could use some writers who know how to coin a nice phrase as well. We need some strategists, maybe some former campaign experience to help focus the issues that will do the most good.

Most of all we need people who will write the Letters to the Editor and get the word out. We will really be looking for folks in the “battleground” states who will really push to get letters published.

Why write Letters to the Editor? It's an easy point of access to mainstream media's ability to communicate to a lot of people in a short time. We still have to try to reach those who are not “web savvy” with the message.

For more information see: FREEPERS UNITED

If you want to participate, let me know.

By the way, when you do get your letters published. Please share, it will encourage people to keep trying.

Thanks

John D. Lunt Jr.

Thank you for your service, Sir. My local liberal rag has refused to print any of my letters for years, but I have other ways and am using them. Take copies of good articles and leave them everywhere!

I like that idea. I used to live in Denver, and the Denver Post was our liberal rag. Nonetheless, I did manage to get a couple printed. Now you can send email letters to a heck of a lot of papers. Almost all of them take email submissions. Kind of like a shotgun.

But sometimes there's a cost. Our friends of 20 years won't have anything to do with us after that last letter. But there is too much at stake in this election. Take care and don't give up!

· Consider that the charges Mr. Kerry made against our soldiers were from highly dubious sources "...<<..And it doesn't hurt to drop the name Ron Hubbard...Pique their interest...let them do their own research...Nothing changes someones mind faster then figuring it out for themselves.....

Good idea. For one of the papers, I had to cut the above letter down by a hundred words before they would go with it. When writing a letter to the editor, try and stay within their word count policy. And you're right, specifics are important, but do eat into the word counts and possibly the concepts you are shooting for.

Great. I'm working on gettin stuff together for the first issue. Fortunately, you already have all the computer skill you'll need. I'll post links where you can find your local newspapers. In most cases they accept emailed letters to the editor and they have links. It'll be easy.

If you have any input on issues we should research and focus on, let me know.

I was on a conservative site that had an engine that reminded me of Map Quest, but it used address location to search out all local newspapers within a certain distance that accepted e-mails. Could we use something like that?

Consider that during this time, Mr. Kerry and other VVAW leaders traveled to Hanoi and Paris and engaged in negotiations with the leaders of North Vietnam, with no authorization by our Government.

Kerry is lucky he still has his U.S. citizenship.

Actually I like Freeper Minutemen. I had thought Sons of liberty or something like that. But I think I like the Minuteman idea.

Thanks

John

What does the communists, terrorists, and democrats have in common?

They all want to defeat G. W. Bush.

Tell people to go to the communists party website, cpusa.org if they don't believe it.

Glad to see some good, constructive action on a broad public level. I'll send letters if the basic content is provided.

I shop with my two sons..both FReepers. The other day in Tom Thumb, I sarcastically asked my son "Hey should we get some of this Newman's Own salad dressing?" standing right next to what was obviously a liberal lady. [You'll have to trust me on my assessment...LOL]

Without missing a beat, my 11 yr old shot back "Why would we want to give money to that Communist?" and my 7 yr old chimed in "Oh he knows Kerry?"

BWAHAHAHAHA!
[The lib was NOT happy as she harrumphed off almost tripping on herself.

The John F. Kerry Timeline is a good source for information. Lots of links to good articles and doc and other site. Puts Kerry's activities in perspective, especially is anit-war activities.

I need to expand on Nicaragua and MIA/POW issues, but there are some important articles and these are issues that need to be examined.

May I suggest a name for this group, how about Freeper Minutemen?

Our local effort is called Operation Dewey Canyon IV. Might change that to Dewey Canyon 04...

Indeed! And friends who can't see the light on this are better left behind.
