Gas leak or TROP?
I know this church. I have visited it. Its beautiful.
It is on the corner of an entrance to a highway. It would be easy for vandals to have entered it. The rector's residence is also on site and is probably near enough to suffer damage.
You know who I mean.
It was Bush!!!
Very good thing this happened early on a Friday morning vs. 48 hours from now. Very few people, if any at all, should have been at the church at 7AM. Prayers to anyone and their families who may have been inside the church at time of explosion, i.e., custodian, kitchen workers, etc.
(s) Ukranian? not black? media is not interested....(/s)
BUMPING - monitoring.
FNC just show video of this ... there is nothing left of the church
They showed pics on FNC, it wasn't just damaged, it was destroyed. It's just a pile of rubble now.
I live in next town. There hasn't been a request from Colchester's FD for help so there is no news on local scanners.
Fox just ran some film of the church. Completely destroyed. Looks like from the inside out. My guess is natural gas. But who knows?
I passed by it on the way to work this morning. It's off Route 2 and they had the exit blocked off. We passed by at approximately 7:10 am and had not yet heard the news so we assumed it was some sort of automobile accident. There was no smoke or any indication from the higfhway that this had happened. The entire church was leveled. No cause yet. No injuries or damage to surrounding buildings.
WTF???
Ukrainian?
This better be a gas leak.....
Local TV News said they were not allowed to get near the Church. State Police still treating the area as a crime scene! Looks like gas explosion on Fox News but don't know what is up with "crime scene".
The MSM will try to say it was a Black church.
An Orthodox church, apparently. The people in Beslan were Russian Orthodox, but closely related to these Ukrainian Orthodox.
FoxNews showed a helicopter view.
The building lay in wood rubble, but there didn't appear to be any signs of fire or smoke (and the explosion happened only 2 hours earlier).
It looked more like the aftermath of a tornado.
My sister lives in Colchester, Ill post more if I can learn more
