I like the old actors who basically just played themselves.

I could watch John Wayne, Humphrey Bogart, Peter Sellers, Sean Connery, Patrick McGoohan, or Laurel & Hardy in just about anything they were in.

For true craftsmen, I'd have to go with Sirs Alec Guinness and Laurence Olivier

For actresses, it really varies by movie, although Bette Davis, Olivia DeHavilland, and Hepburn have quite a long list of classics.

For best couple, I have to go with Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers.

Mel Gibson- I would watch him jumping on a pogo stick, eaking in Swahili, eating crackers.

Lou Gossett Jr.- Don't know why- just a great actor with amazing range.

Mark Hamill- Real soft spot for him. No break in films after the SW trilogy , but he's gorgeous IMO. Most spectacular blue eyes and chin dimple in film-dom.

Let me think about the actresses. Not many I really like.

That was SPEAKING in Swahili- but he could 'eak' too , and I'd watch! lol

Dead actors-- Yul Brynner, Cary Grant, Tyrone Power and Jack Lemmon.
Actresses- maybe Loretta Young.

Current female actresses aren't too impressive, but I thought Dolly Parton had a sweet way about her in 'Steel Magnolias'.
