Sharp words on Labor Day
CANDIDATES SPAR OVER EMPLOYMENT, IRAQ INVASION SPEECHES IN MID-AMERICA
.......``As the president likes to say, there's nothing complicated about it,'' Kerry said, speaking to a crowd of about 2,000 at a United Mine Workers Labor Day picnic. ``It all comes down to one letter: W. W stands for wrong. Wrong choices, wrong judgment, wrong priorities for our country.''
Aides said Kerry intends to jettison talk about his own Vietnam War record that dominated his campaign throughout the summer and will hit Bush on the economy -- believing that job losses, falling wages and rising health care costs will convince millions of voters that they are worse off than they were four years ago. With 1.7 million jobs created over the past year, the economy still is down 913,000 jobs overall since Bush took office.
Speakers drowned out
Kerry's day began with a front-porch question and answer session with supporters at the home of Dale and Jody Rhome on West College Street, a tree-lined block in Canonsburg, Pa.
Boisterous pro-Bush protesters at the end of the block screamed ``flip-flop'' and ``four more years,'' drowning out speakers at the event. As Kerry attacked Bush for deficit spending driven by tax cuts and a $200 billion war in Iraq, the catcalls grew louder.
``They don't like to hear the truth -- it's kind of funny,'' Kerry said. ``Every one of those people screaming over there, they all have a bigger debt to pay.''
Kerry cited a study by the liberal Economic Policy Institute from January indicating jobs in growing industries pay $8,848 less on average than jobs in fading industries. One-third of the new jobs are for janitors, fast-food workers and temporary employees, and they are less likely to offer health insurance than other work, his campaign said.....

So he's off Vietnam bringing up class warfare rhetoric. Yeah that'll impress the undecided. <Yawn
Exactly.
After Kerry being booed by at least 50 perscent of the crowd in Ohio and low turnouts at other stops he has to go to a safe place to campaign, the Unions. Kerry is drawing 1,500 - 2,500 people and Bush is drawing 18,000 - 25,000 at campaign stops. I think I see a trend!
I believe that's been debunked. There are more people working today than when Bush took office. Kerry will have to refocus his campaign (again) in a few weeks and look for a new message.
Maybe that's why they are growing?
You can bet the DemocRAT 'smear the Swiftees' campaign will be kicked up to a whole new level now that Carville and Begala joined the LIARS BRIGADE at Kamp Kerry.
Support for the Swiftees is crucial right now, so they can get these ads on the air on REGULAR TV in battleground states.
FReepers are key in getting the word out about the righteousness of the SBVFT by exposing Kerry's FRAUD.
These Swiftee window stickers get the word out to the driving public, display public support for the SBVFT, as well as displaying the website address!

As if John Kerry knows anything about the truth. It certainly isn't true that John Kerry thinks "it's kind of funny" so he's lying right there.
Kerry would prefer to have these common rabble lined up against a wall and have his people shoot them.
Powder..Patch..Ball FIRE!
Gee... No notice of President Bush's campaign stop in Popular Bluff that had over 10,000 cheering supporters in attendance and had a very positive message....
Wonder why???
Perhaps he can bring up his reccord in the Senate... Then again, perhaps he won't.
The people in the unions are getting smarter. Maybe the money goes to the dem candidate, but I think a lot fewer union votes will. I think the dems have finally begun to have the sheets pulled on them by those who use to be their base.
W stands for wrong. Who thought that up, James Carville?
I can't see that W for wrong thing catching on. Maybe it is the way you spell it, but most of Kerry's base wouldn't know that! LOL!
True. The seasonally adjusted numbers show a drop though:

"...President Bush's campaign stop in Popular Bluff that had over 10,000 cheering supporters in attendance...."
I believe it is correct that 10,000 signed the petition asking him to come to Poplar Bluff. Crowd estimates have been as high as 30,000. Whatever the actual number, I saw it on C-Span (thank you, C-Span, by the way), and it was huge.
His arrogance and snooty prissiness will cause his demise.
They used this tactic on RR and Poppy Bush. I believe the term then was "MacJobs".
Same tired old tactics from the Dems, time for new blood, new ideas.
Oops! New blood, new ideas? That's the Republicans.
Now it's time to start hammering him with his complicity in the communist campaign to overthrow The Republic of Viet Nam.
Kerry the phony war hero...but very real wealthy International Socialist....and Greenie...
Kerry's Plans For America could be titled...THE GREAT LEAP BACKWARDS
We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good
imo
Bump!
