Great idea. I'm on the left coast but will be keeping tabs on you folks.

Pray for a low pressure system to push this out to the Atlantic.
Checking in...and smart to keep this in the breaking news column..as it is immediately more important than Kerry's lies about swift boat veterans at the moment. I am in Brevard County...Viera.
I'm located in Stuart, on my boat. I was suppose to be hauled out yesterday at the American Custom Yacht Co. Well, they put they screws to me and my buddy. We were at their place a 12:30, after calling to make arrangements. The big boys started arriving (Jim Smith's and Buddy Davis's), they started hauling them ahead of us. At 7:00PM, we were informed they couldn't take anymore boats. We then had to head back down the St. Lucie Canal in the dark to the marina. What a goat rodeo.
I'm triple lined... all canvas and cushions off and secured. Now the insurance company will have to fret. Still wondering which direction to head by land, if it hits here.
I'm here in Palm Bay too. There's not a single prediction map that I like the looks of. One way or another, we're getting a storm. I'm out towards the West end of Emerson. I'm just glad that I don't live on the beach anymore. You're welcome to Freepmail me to keep in touch.
Boca Raton!
Checking in from Deltona!
JAX, reporting in.
My daughter and grand-daughter are actually flying down to Palm Beach today to help my ex. Haven't heard yet that Frances will be hitting that far north of Palm Beach county yet, so I am interested in tracking with you all as well. Moved from Cocoa to Los Angeles in 1982 so love the Space coast! Will be praying for all of you!!

Good morning,
I'm in Palm bay in the far nortwest corner. I'm staying but I am sending my wife and stepdaughter inland to Naples. I just stopped in here while taking a break from preparing for this storm.
And yes, I am worried too. But I think that it is going to hit up closer to Cape Canaveral. We will all know more on Friady though.
The Working Man
The Vehicle Assembly Building original built for the Saturn V rocket and the nearby service hangars for the Space Shuttle are certified at best for 105 mph winds--if Hurricane Frances reaches the Cape Canaveral area at Category 4 or higher these buildings could be heavily damaged or destroyed. And worst part is that the surviving space shuttles Discovery, Atlantis and Endeavour are currently being serviced and upgraded there--a direct hit by Hurricane Frances could destroy the hangars along with the shuttles inside them.
I also have a cousin in Palm Bay...she's saying she's ready for it....been stocking for a couple weeks. I've been e-mailing her various tips I've been reading on the threads.
best of luck to you...I'm in Maryland but have been reading ALL Frances threads!...I also have family in the West Palm area.
You guys blow away yet?
Thinking of all y'all and hoping you are all safe and secure. Check in when you can.
