I've got family in Melbourne and Merritt Island. They're getting outta' Dodge. They're heading North at 2AM tomorrow morning to (hopefully) avoid the rush.

Good luck to you.

With all due respect to Tony Blair, I hope the UKMET model is wrong, wrong, wrong! And I'm all for GAPS, as many GAPS as we can get which is more than NO.

Where can one find an updated UKMET model? I checked on google and found a few dead links. I have family in Orlando that said the eye is headed for their part of town if this storm doesn't shift.. I guess in the past forcast Orlando wouldn't get the eye so the wind issues wouldn't be as big of a problem.

They are being told to expect 140MPH wind in Orlando. I dunno know about you, but it seems like inland can't escape this one, this time.

Pray for everyone's safety.

I'm actually still at work. The company has decided that hurricane WARNINGS aren't a good enough reason to let everyone go home early.

Bastidges...
