**A PROACTIVE IDEA OF WHAT TO DO WITH "UNFIT FOR COMMAND" DUST COVERS**
Free Republic from the mind of AmericanInTokyo ^ | 19 August 2004 | AmericanInTokyo

This great book is hitting the bookstores in force. Folks are no doubt getting their Amazon.com deliveries. The newspapers are beginning to take up the story of the SWIFTVETS.

Here is an idea to get the word out even more at the grassroots level in America. Spread the world about "UNFIT FOR COMMAND" in your own special way!

great idea! We must use street-level tactics against the wealthy Left and their lapdog Old Media.

I was in San Francisco tonight and UNBELIEVABLY saw exactly what you have suggested! The owner of a white van had photocopied the front jacket of UNFIT FOR COMMAND and placed it on his back window. I gave him the thumbs up!

It must be something if you saw this in San Francisco. I used to live there and thought it was all anti-American liberal hatred and intolerant fascism.

And Camachee, forget the "liberal" car key, what about the "liberal" sledgehammer. Those people are vicious, mean and sneaky.

This probably has a copyright thingy against it...but for those who are crafty:

1) Scan dust cover into computer

2) Buy some of the blank printable fabric iron-ons

3) Print photo onto fabric & iron-on appropriate t-shirt, flag, seat of your jeans, toilet paper covers, etc.

For anyone who can't get a copy Brad's Gramma ordered quite a few from the publisher. If you FReepmail her I'm sure she'll be glad to give you details. I believe she is supposed to receive them this Tuesday (8/24).

Oh oh.

They're all sold. ALL. In about 24 hours. And they're supposed to be SHIPPED Tuesday, in case anyone's having heart palpitations thinking it's coming earlier than they thought.

IF I HAD THE MONEY, I'd do this all over again. Heck, if someone wants to FRONT the money, I'll do it again.

THANKS for remembering me though, Donaeus!!!

Thanks for posting this thread, AIT.

Any ping list owners want to ping their friends?

I got my first flip-off yesterday from the book jacket image magnetic sticker I have on my vehicle. I think the guy who flipped me off was madder that I was laughing at him when he did it.

Note: you can buy Xerox brand printable magnetic sheets for about $12.00 for four 8.5 x 11 inch sheets at most Staples, K Marts, and Walmarts. Or you can buy two 6 x 9 inch sticky-backed magnetic sheets at The Container Store for $2.99, onto which you can mount a copy of the book cover.

Then just sit back and watch in your rearview mirror as liberal heads explode.

Oh dear! Sorry folks, she's all sold out I hope I didn't ruin anybody's night.

I'm glad you got them all sold, I was going to check with you about getting one for myself if I didn't find it in my area. I didn't make it to the bookstore this weekend. If there is enough interest perhaps we can do a prepay to you, I would not want to put you in any kind of financial bind. Let me know if anything devleops.

You're welcome, I surely would not want you stuck with 50 of John Kerry's ugly mug staring at you. That's enough to give me nightmares! LOL

Great Idea!
I received my book Friday from Amazon, and I've read over half of it just through the weekend. Now, I'm a very slow reader and usually take a Month or more to read a book, even a good one ,a chapter one day a half a chapter the next. For me to finish a books in just a few days, it must be captivating. And it is.

Sat down on a bench in a mall reading mine....had a dozen + people ask where I'd finally gotten the book...Some very lively conversations.
Had to inform one RAT that O'Neill was a democrat and that she might also want to ad Zell Miller and DIck Morris to her list of democratic authors...She left in a huff.

LOL! Great cartoon.

It's just what I picture in my mind's eye whenever I hear the lefties complaining about the Swiftees ad.

Go Swiftees!

Truth is just so offensive to the dems. They just can't understand why we don't buy their lies, and like it too.
