Great news for W
I do not know what research shows on bumper/yard signs. However, for me and my family, we support President Bush, we stand proud and would like our neighbors, church goers, non-church goers, MCDonald drive through people, to know we stand for President Bush. I think the more they see, the more they want the one who has support to win. Everyone goes with a winner................ Bush is a winner.
PA has tilted solid Kerry of late - Kerry is leading in the last 12 polls out of PA (though we don't need PA to win) -
With that said, OH,FL,NH,WV,AR,VA,NV and MO all still seem in play for Kerry - Which is not good -
The one State GWB looks to take from Kerry is possibly WI - and an ever bigger reach would be IA (MN,OR,WA and MI are all extreme long shots) -
I'd wager we're better looking too! ;o)
I didn't interpret it that way. I've never felt that the Republicans don't welcome unmarried woman, the post simply stated the fact, according to pre-election and exit polls that unmarried women tended to vote for Democrats, and the women explained why in the questioning. It was very close to what zerosix said.
I'm married, but one of my sisters in law is single. She's in a minority in that she detests the Democrat party, but that may be because she never married and has always supported herself and never expected anyone to help her; in other words, she's a strong, independent woman!
Damn tootin, toots!
This is fact?
Bush lost Iowa in 2000 by less than 4,000 votes. (We even pleaded for a recount.)
I think W will carry Iowa in this election.
If the polls look so-so now, just wait until kerry starts talking. If he talks enough this may be a GWB landslide!
Yeah, Jimmuh just monitered a So. Am. election-Venezuel? and declared it fair. Now the losing oposition is sueing the winners for voter fraud.
vaudine
In the past two elections, I've had two people say to me that they weren't going to bother voting, but they thought they'd go just to cancel out my vote.
But lately I've been wondering if a Nadar sign would do more good in my neighborhood? I think I could get a neighbor who votes 2nd ammendment only to put up a Nadar sign as well. I've been thinking if I get a few more friends from my town to support Ralphie, the local libs might start thinking Nadar stands a chance, or that Kerry's not worth supporting.
The obvious glitch is that both my 2nd ammendment friend and I are pretty much expected to put signs up for Bush.
Frankly, I like beer
I do agree we need to vote. What I am saying is that I believe it is over for the Democrats. Count on it. 55% for the President, 42% for Kerry and 2% for Nader.
You can take that to the banks!
"I think yard signs are telling too. We were in Tenn just before the election & saw many more Bush signs than Gore signs. I was hopeful that Bush would win Tenn & he did!"
Being from Tennessee, that actually was a no-brainer ... we've seen first hand Gore's ineffectiveness!
Boy, is that ever true. Why do you think the Democrats have been trying to destroy the family for the last 40 years?
How does an ineffective politician keep getting elected, in Tenn or anywhere?
I'll worry.
There are a lot of currently unmarried conservative women around. Things happen. I only date conservative women. I am taking a little break now, but I estimate 15% of single women are conservative and not narcisstic like the liberals.
Yeah, just wait till Kerry place his ace in the hole: He served in Vietnam.
Because of his name.
But only 35% of those women vote, as I remember a poll a few weeks ago. I see ~15% as being conservative in my dating life (target). So that leaves ~20% of currently single women voting selfishly like liberals.
The other 65% don't care, or are too busy being selfishly narcissistic.
