Presidential hopeful John Kerry has based his campaign bid for the US Presidency on his Vietnam war-hero status and his three Purple Hearts.
On the Garrison Show (WNDE, Indianapolis) this morning, a guest announced that soon-to-be-released excerpts from a diary kept by Kerry will shed doubt on his first Purple Heart. Apparently, Kerry notes in the diary that he did not come under actual enemy fire until days after being awarded the medal.
The diary was made available to a left-wing journalist named Cockburn who was apparently more angered by Kerry's participation in various atrocities in Vietnam than by what the diary proves of Senator Kerry's allegedly "illegal" Purple heart commendation. The information has been sent to Drudge, Fox News, and various other news organs.

Hmmmmm -- this could be hugh.
Of course.
I see things like that and I remember, with shame, that I was fooled for a few minutes by Landoverbaptistchurch.com. I thought it was a real Christian site at first. So now I start thinking everything is fake.
What's cow tipping?
The email gets the word out! I went to a local classic car cruise-in last Saturday night, a lady in her mid-40's spoke to me in regards to my "Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry" window sticker on my 1951 Pontiac.
She asked if I was one of the Swift Boat guys on that email she received the other day. I told her No, I was just a Vietnam veteran who was called a war criminal by John Kerry 33 years ago.
I asked about what she thought about John Kerry. She chuckled as she said, "I don't keep up with all that political stuff, but my girlfriend forwarded an email to me with a link in it, and I clicked it. It was a short movie and all these guys said they served with Kerry, and that he lied and he could not be trusted. I asked my husband about it and he said, 'Kerry is the guy who trashed all the veterans when they came back from the war and said they were baby killers'."
She said she couldn't understand how a guy like that could be running for president, when he should have be in jail! She said she now understood why I put those stickers on my classic car that I always treat with kid gloves.
So, the bottom line is the ad is so good, that even if they only hear it once, they are suspect of Kerry!
Cow tipping is when you go out at night when the cows are sleeping and push them over.
I think Kerry's foreign and military policy is supposed to make the U.S. a sleeping cow... So he can just dare our enemies to come on over and try and tip us over. I mean, I've always thought of America as a sleeping mammal... But I've always though of it along the lines of a metaphor about a sleeping bear or sleeping lion. A cow? My God!
No offense to any Hindus of course, the cow isn't usually hurt.
Good afternoon.
Cockburn is the worst sort of leftist and he will NEVER have anything good to say about the USofA. If he is attacking john kerry it is because Cockburn is supporting another leftist. The things he writes about things military show his ignorance and bias.
Michael Frazier
Have you noticed all the noveau Sixties commercials and advertisements lately? I saw a copy of "I'd like to teach the world to sing" on a soda ad last night.
No, I hadn't seen it, thank you!
You wouldn't be thinking of a "Hillary comes to the rescue" October Surprise, wouldya???
Actually, I hadn't seen it and I'm glad that I didn't. I would have probably barfed all over myself. And, you know, I have a really nice, big screen TV that I wouldn't want to ruin.
cockburn?
better put "some ice on that" honey...
The RNC called me for money yesterday. I told them no. Why? Because I'm sending a check to the Swift Vet guys.
John O'Neill has been much more effective in proving what a liar Kerry is that the RNC. I can't believe I'm even saying this.
President Bush, do you approve of the ads that organizations like SwiftBoat Veterans for Truth have created challenging Senator Kerry's war record?
I think a perfect answer would be:
You know, I never like to challenge the honor or bravery of anyone who serves in our armed forces. There are brave men and women today serving in Iraq and I'd hate to think they were wasting any time worrying about how today's actions might be treated in any future political campaign. Therefore, I'd really like to not make Senator Kerry's war record a part of this campaign at all.
Especially since there must have been something he's done during the intervening 30 years that is worth discussing. Something. Anything. Senator Kerry?
That's how I'd answer.
Shalom.
Probably the same place they found Hilter's Diaries.
But remember, it's a well known fact that Dems lie to their diaries.
The Dim definition of a war hero is someone who did everything he possibly could to end the war ...
... without actually waging it.
Shalom.
Thanks for the clarification.
