John Kerry's Secret Records (freeper cartoon)
Monday, August 16, 2004 | Scott Waguespack

Posted on 08/16/2004 6:44:40 PM PDT by Sofa King

John Kerry has been running on his military record for thirty-plus years now. Interestingly enough, he refuses to allow the release of his actual military records (or his medical records, which are important because of questions about his purple hearts).

Now, I'm not saying that John Kerry has lost his privacy rights completely, but this is a situation of his own making. He has brought up his military record at every possible opportunity, often inventing opportunities (and elements of his record, for that matter). Is it really unreasonable to want to see what his actual records have to say?

I thought it was kind of funny myself. Oh well, simple things for simple minds I guess.

If I were GWB, I would bring a blank Form 180 (or whatever it is) to the first debate and hand it to John F'n Kerry with a brand new ball point pen and ask him to sign it.

Next time I want advice from someone as useless as you, I'll be sure to give you a call.

not to mention the medical records request. Kerry has prostate cancer. we have a right to know what's up.

Everybody's gotta be a critic!

I think it's pretty funny. As with all humor, there is humor in the plain, unvarnished truth.

It is amazing that no on one the Left (or anywhere else) has yet to directly, factually disprove the Swifties!! Astounding.

NOOOOOOO, Mr. Bush was forced to release his medical and service records and they are still not believed???..............why not the so-called "hero"?????????? Ity-bity shrapnel wounds are important..........WHEN YOU MAKE THEM SO, mr. kerry.

If Berger can get away with stealing confidential records, Kerry can change records anytime he wishes and probably did long ago!

What Kerry should be addressed on is what he said to Congress and the anti-military rallies he organized and being involved in or not reporting the death threats of senators. Leave the records along! We may be sorry for what we asked for!

Why waste your time drawing a cartoon when you could just as easily use a Photoshop program to illustrate you point.

In fact you don't even need a photoshop program, MSPaint gives you all the basic tools you need to make such a picture.

Get some manners.

I agree. What possesses some FReepers to say such asinine things to others is beyond me.

No need to take it so personally.

If you're gonna post here, expect some criticism. It comes with the territory.

Why don't you go ask every professional cartoonist that question?

Truth is, finding all of the images needed and putting them together with photoshop would probably take just as long as drawing the comic by hand, and drawing it by hand can be done in front of the TV. Besides, I have more artistic freedom this way, and find drawing by hand to be more enjoyable than by mouse.

Oh, grow up. As criticism goes, that was pretty tame.
