Editorial - Mr. Golan Cipel is filing a sexual harrassment lawsuit today against the Governor. This lawsuit will no doubt delve into some particularly ugly aspects of what happens when a sexually permissive Governor brings on a staff member who in the opinion of voters, and legislators is not qualified to serve in his post.
Mr. Cipel did not have the level of clearance necessary to even allow him to attend Homeland Security briefings for the Federal Government yet McGreevey had hired him better than two years ago as the New Jersey Homeland Security director.
It gets more interesting...Mr. Cipel, when he had resigned his post as New Jersey Homeland Security Director went to work for Charles Kushner who was formerly the chief fund raiser for McGreevey. Kushner was indicted 3 weeks ago on corruption charges in a case involving a New Jersey farm deal in which it is reported that McGreevey would speak in code with the owner of the farm to indicate his decision on which way he was leaning. The indictment stated that the Governor would use terms from Machiavelli. On three seperate occassions the feds wired up the farms owner and captured audio of McGreevey doing just that.
What is unclear is...
Did Mr. Kushner - who already had a history of sending prostitutes to people as a way of entrapment and blackmail - decide to turn the sex wedge against McGreevey in exchange for the Governor refusing to pardon him in the federal investigation? Certainly with Cipel working with Kushner the idea and goods would have been known and discussed in terms of ways that kind of plot could be pulled off...
Kushner is also a heavy fundraiser for Hillary Clinton, Chuck Schumer, and has even raised funds for John Kerry...

But But McGreevey is the victim of anti-homosexual feelings

Badda bing... badda boom

"Plot Thickens" bump.
I love it when the 'Rats dirty dealings are turned on each other.
Tying Kerry into this homo mess -- brilliant!! I love it. Thanks for posting it.
Those same feelings didn't make Barney Frank quit.
Still gotta wonder how much of the Timing of the announcement has to do with
TRYING TO TAKE ATTENTION AWAY FROM THE SWIFT VET ISSUE.
In my most reflective and most spiritual point I have always asked 'which master should I serve'...I am a Gay American...this is an intensely personal decision"My thought is that, yes, deciding which master to serve is an intensly personal decision, however one goes about it...and it looks like McGreevey decided which master to serve...and it was the wrong one.
Sodomy, homsexuality, adultry...and so many more crimes and sins. Definitely, he chose to serve his master and that master has made him hios and is now carefully leading him down to hell and misery...to join him there.
One ought to choose the right...choose the light...choose the King of Peace. The way may not be easy, but it will lead to joy, peace of mind, satisfaction, integrity, honor and true love. Not these horrific counterfeits that this poor wretch is still falling for.

TRENTON -- Golan Cipel, the controversial and highly paid adviser to Gov. James E. McGreevey, has resigned for personal reasons, the Governor's Office said yesterday.
Paul Aronsohn, communications director for McGreevey, said Cipel told McGreevey Tuesday he wanted to leave his job. "The governor accepted it with regret," Aronsohn said.
McGreevey was traveling and unavailable for interviews.
"I have received offers from private companies which I have decided to pursue. I thank the governor for his support and the opportunity to work for New Jersey," Cipel said in a statement issued by McGreevey's staff yesterday.
Asked whether Cipel's position would be filled and whether his three assistants would be retained, Aronsohn replied, "We will review our needs."
Cipel, 33, an Israeli citizen, was originally hired as McGreevey's lead security adviser in February. He resigned in March after questions about his background, but was kept on the government payroll at $110,000 a year.
The administration declined to give a formal job description or allow Cipel to be interviewed by the media.
McGreevey has said he met Cipel on a trip to Israel in 2000 and decided to bring him to the United States. Cipel was first hired by the Democratic State Committee, which also paid his $1,100 registration fee with the Immigration and Naturalization Service.
Cipel landed a second job with developer Charles Kushner, a top McGreevey campaign contributor, after McGreevey recommended him, a Kushner spokesman said.
Following McGreevey's election, he announced Cipel would focus on homeland security though Cipel couldn't get a federal security clearance because he is not an American.
Lawmakers were angry that McGreevey's top security aide was not subjected to a background check required for all Cabinet members and major nominations. When members of the Senate Judiciary Committee demanded that Cipel testify before them, McGreevey reassigned him to a job as "counselor to the governor" with no specified duties.
A Gannett State Bureau report two weeks ago showed McGreevey relied on exaggerated anti-terrorism credentials to justify Cipel's hiring for the $110,000-a-year post, which included an office on the second floor of the Statehouse.
"This must be retreat week," said Senate Majority Leader Anthony Bucco, R-Morris. "Yesterday we watched as the governor backtracked on his opposition to open public records, and today he is saying good-bye to a high-paid political crony. It's about time, governor."
I would agree with you except for one thing: an Israeli spy would never blow his own cover by filing a sexual harassment lawsuit.
5 Legislative Days Left Until The AWB Expires
Oh, my!
McGreevey has become a bigtime liability.
In my most reflective and most spiritual point I have always asked 'which master should I serve'...I am a CROOKED Gay American...this is an intensely personal decision".
That may be the reason he quit...not because he was gay.
