The lies told by Kerry are moving the undecided voters to Bush. With a little help from the Swifties...:-)

Correct me, but didn't the SBVs only have enough money for a short ad buy in 3 states.

Thanks to Kerry and his clymer handlers it's been shown for free everywhere and has better legs than the US Olympic Basketball Team.

John Kerry will start his new job - manager of a Waffle House, sometime in early January, 2005.

When I heard that ad for the first time, my first thought was "Kerry's just lost the election." It's a poweful ad.

This will definately give pause to the "Independent moderaes" who will likey go with what they know (BUSH) over what they don't know (Kerry). Kerry is appearing more and more strange and moderates don't like strange.

"In a close race where every little bit counts, Kerry can’t afford to sustain too many minor hits like this.”

Who knows maybe he'll get another Purple Heart.

I wonder how many people "claimed" to have heard of the ad simply because they would have felt stupid telling the truth, that they had no idea what the interviewer was talking about.

Perhaps the interview was constructed to erase this possibility.

Everything I have on Kerry can be found by going to the "Last" here and working backwards:

-John Kerry- some selected, informative links...--

I additionally started a separate SBV post, but merged it with the above link to simplify things:

-The Swift Grey Fox- John Kerry versus the Swift Boat Vets--

Instapundit has posted an image of the original article from the Boston Herald, with the context of the proceeding sentence:

On more than one occasion, I, like Martin Sheen in "Apocalypse Now," took my patrol boat into Cambodia

In fact, I remember spending Christmas Day of 1968 five miles across the Cambodian border being shot at by our South Vietnamese Allies who were drunk and celebrating Christmas. The absurdity of almost being killed by our own allies in a country in which President Nixon claimed there were no American troops was very real. But nowhere in "Apocalypse Now" did I sense that kind of absurdity.

John Kerry, delusional or bs artist. Thinking he was Martin Sheen and thinking Nixon was president.

a majority overall and among undecided voters said it would not impact their vote either way

If these "undecided" voters say it won't impact their vote either way, even if they find out that JFin'K is Major-League JFin'K liar, why don't they just admit being a DUmmycrat sympathizer and go back to DU where they belong!

To say it wouldn't affect your vote shows you have rocks in your head if you find out the truth and disregard it! The least they could do is NOT vote at all!

Personally, I don't consider this to be minor.

In a close race where every little bit counts, Kerry can’t afford to sustain too many minor hits like this.” said Tony Fabrizio, who served as chief pollster for Bob Dole’s ’96 Presidential campaign.

Minor hits?? A blatant lie printed in the congressional record and numerous other places over the years and not even being corroborated by his crew, is minor??

Not only that, it tears down kerry's credibility while boosting the Swiftees' credibility. I think it's a winner on both counts.

"Minor hits?" LOL, these guys are clueless. Its more like a torpedo to the prow of a campaign stalled in the water.
