The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.
"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."
We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

With the nation on high alert for al-Qaida terrorists, the Department of Homeland Security is putting its border officers through "etiquette" classes to soften their image and make them less threatening to arriving foreign immigrants, WorldNetDaily has learned.

I recently passed up a chance to get a Glock 30. It had WAY too much cosmetic damage for the asking price. I was looking to replace my old Star PD 45. I miss that one, in spite of the feed issues.
I'm not a tremendous fan of the new "crew served" handguns. (.454 .480 .50)
The 10mm and 40s&w are ok I suppose, but over all I'm a wheelgun or 1911 guy.

I'm afraid I may have to add on a doo-dad I have always disdained. My eyes aren't the greatest anymore at my age (47) and it's getting harder to see my front sight. A buddy suggested I put one of those "Laser-Max" gizmos (replaces the recoil guide rod assembly right beneath the barrel). I generally don't like lasers, but my friend suggested that the dot might be more visible than the sights, or at least help with sight alignment. I'm thinking about it. They ain't cheap, either!

I'd rather that President Bush had swept the clintonites out of government. We're still dealing with that kind of crap. I wonder if it's because he thought he didn't have a mandate.
It's too late now. We need to see to our own local security.

The P245 fed EVERYTHING I shoot on a regular basis from reloads to the expensive MagSafe and Glaser rounds. Even the Flying Ashtrays. I went thru a couple of mags of each last week. I'll bet I went thru 500rds that day. No malfunctions, and I bought the piece used.

You must feel haunted by this quote now! Great article on another elephant under the livingroom carpet...another "keeper". It was interesting reading it from the postings back up to the actual article...cinematography for the mind!

No President can do that. The CFR is too deeply entrenched and has been since 1929. GW might not belong to that group, but he still must dance to their tune and he certainly knows the names of all the muscians. After all, his daddy once conducted that orchestra.

Yes. He is trying to keep the focus on his gayness not his abuse and missuse of taxpayer funded money in appointing his lover to a positions (or positions) to which his boy toy was not qualified. Imagine all the media attention if a straight GOPer did this with a mistress... It has happened a few times.
By putting his gayness up front, McGreevy hopes to get sympathy from the people and the media. Because if we criticize him, well, we must be haters and gay bashers. It of course will also dampen down that incoming sexual harassment suit.

How dare you post off topic. This is the gun thread. Kidding! :)

And hurricane season is just beginning. Thanks for the post nwctwx. The more info the better. We need to at least be aware of all the things the booger goblins might be thinking of.

I can be idealistic, though. If everyone else can deny nukes, I can deny this. :)

Maybe they'll used the "fur lined" handcuffs when they bust him. I guess he was announcing his intent to enjoy his stint in Federal PMITA Prison.

I'm afraid I may have to add on a doo-dad I have always disdained. My eyes aren't the greatest anymore at my age (47) and it's getting harder to see my front sight.I'm 47 too. My "doo dad" is a pin-hole aperture on my safety glasses. It changes the depth of field so I can see the target, front post and back blade. Works with or without my corrective lenses. A must for competition bullseye matches. The laser pointer helps rapid placement when you don't have enough time to line up the sights with you eyes. The Crimson Trace products are pretty good. The LaserMax guide rod replacements are pricey at $329. Still, that is a great place to install a pointer.
To: Myrddin
The Crimson Trace products are pretty good...Actually i thought of them first. Too bad they don't yet make a model for the Sig P245. ~SIGH~
That "Pin Hole" product would work great, but I'm afraid that my IDPA club wouldn't let me use it at a match on the grounds that I couldn't just wear it on the street all the time and of course, they're correct.
