First, it's telling that Kerry is using Michael Moore's propaganda as a playbook in his campaign. This has a definite whiff of desperation about it.
Secondly, where exactly was John Kerry that morning when America was under attack, and what was he doing?

Sen. Kerry was asked where he was the morning of September 11th. Here is part of his response:
Kerry: "...And as I came in [to a meeting in Sen. Daschle's office], Barbara Boxer and Harry Reid were standing there, and we watched the second plane come in to the building. And we shortly thereafter sat down at the table and then we just realized nobody could think, and then boom, right behind us, we saw the cloud of explosion at the Pentagon..." (emphasis added).
It should be noted that the second plane hit the World Trade Center at 9:03 a.m., and the plane hit the Pentagon at 9:43 a.m. By Kerry's own words, he and his fellow senators sat there for forty minutes, realizing "nobody could think."
In other words: Sen. Kerry, who criticized President Bush for not rushing out of the Florida classroom for seven minutes, sat paralyzed with his colleagues for a full forty minutes. He is hardly in a position to criticize President Bush for "inaction."

A bunch of minor league Senators froze for 40 minutes, while the Commander in Chief, on whose shoulders the weight of the nation's grief and anger had just been thrust, kept his cool in a classroom full of children before bringing the war to the Jihadists ...

It is not up to the biased media to point out this leadership failure. But it is up to GW Bush since his opponent used those 7 minutes against him in a campaign speech..............
Yes... he told Larry King...he knew instantly it was Bin Laden....maybe he knew before he didn't know.....he flip-flops all over....on everything!
The first plane was at 8:46 am. I was watching Fox & Friends and they had 'breaking news' just before 9am reporting a plane crash at the WTC. They speculated a small craft had hit it.
Bump your #22......that's what I think was going on while the President 'prayed' silently and kept his cool for the kids.
I may be incorrect and too early with 8:46am time but I do believe that Fox & Friends trio was just signing off at about 9am when they announced that a plane had hit the WTC.
So it was on FNC very soon after the first tower was hit.

When GW was first notified, he was notified only that a plane had hit one of the towers. Nothing else was known at the time. In fact, it wasn't until the second plane hit that most people started to realize that something beyond accidental was going on. The aide to President Bush did not, as Kerry claims, whisper into GW's ear, "America is under attack."
CNBC had a news report that a plane had hit one of the towers and it was definitely before 6:00 Pacific time. The initial speculation was that a small private plane had hit it.
By about 6:00, they had a live shot up and it was clear from the size of the fire that it had not been a small plane. Within minutes of their getting the live shot on the air, the second plane impacted the second tower.
(The previous address had insufficient bandwith and was constantly overloaded.)

I think Kerry is lying. He and his comrades may have been momentarily stunned. Then the wheels started to turn and the powwow began on how to best use 9/11 for their political advantage.
