He may well be. By itself, this is a really nice photo. But when it comes after a series of pathetic photo ops, all it does is add to his growing dorky image.

If he wants to pick up a guitar and make like he knows how to play it, he needs to sit in his basement for hours each day practicing on an electric guitar with no amplifier and never play in public (but brag about his skills) like a true internet guitarist.

Hard to keep up with it all. It's a pose a day with this guy. Most politicians try to work something local from each city or state into their stump speeches. Kerry seems to be trying to work something local into his persona every day.
