I don't think Kerry admits he is a classical guitarist. He only admits to Rock & Roll. I don't think he wants to hurt his image.

He's doing a rotten job of hiding it. All he needs is the nifty little ge-new-wine walnut foot stand to look like Julian Bream . . . NOT!

You're right, though, his hand position (both) and the way he holds the guitar are clearly classical. Myself, I play folk and bluegrass, but I started out in classical and it's obvious from my LH wrist position.

I've been known to wrap my thumb around, especially on a narrow neck guitar - and I began in classical guitar. It's the way he's holding his left wrist that clinches it for me.
