In Rush's closing segment he said that he just received a story or document saying that lawyers for both the Kerry and Edwards teams were sending out letters to TV stations warning them about showing the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth advertisement!

Hoooray! This will almost assure that it will get bigger media coverage than ever. Can you say, Bunny Suit Syndrome?
Bush has simply ignored all the acrimony over the last two years, cuz it leaves his critics batting the air.
Kerry just tends to draw more and more attention to his negatives by threatening his critics.

Probably just giving liberal owners an excuse not to run the ads.

This cannot help Kerry.
The Dork strikes again!
Get out of my way old lady ... and you vets too.

What took them so long? There are two lawyers running for Prez and VP here and this is standard operating procedure. Standard.

I guess the truth really does hurt! These letters to stations will only ramp up the attention factor. Kerry & company really must be worried.

Seems like a panic move. They had to know that sending that letter would just draw more attention to the issue.
To: mcg1969
A desperate move by the sKerry losers. HAHA...

I'm glad you started the thread. I heard it too and was lazily waiting for someone else to do the work. ;O)

Is this unprecedented? Anyone know?

So which is it...
Was he lying when he said he committed war atrocities?
...or is he lying now?

They must really be sweating this story if they're jumpin' on it like this! If it was lies, why the hell would they care? They'd be able to use it for ammo against Bush.

If they sue SwiftVets, they should countersue. That would give our side discovery and I am sure somebody would take the case for free.

I am still confident that common-sense will prevail on 11/2 and Dubya will win re-election. Stuff like this slowly turns off fence-sitters to Kerry.

If so, an outrageous attempt by Kerry to squelch 1st Amendment rights. The first amendment is there to protect pornography, Christian bashing, and to force people to by entertainment products from people who hate America.
It is not there to protect political speech that dares blaspheme demi-gods like Kerry.
