Kerry Sticks Finger In Marine's Chest -- NOT! Here's the Proof

The question is: "Is Kerry sticking his bony, well-manicured, girly, index finger in the chest of the Marine pictured here?"

The answer is "No."

After optimizing the pic with Photoshop and Image Optimizer, what looks like Kerry's finger is actually the top piece of a wooden frame that holds a mirror and is attached to the window.

There is another mirror just like it behind the Marine, to the right of his elbow.

I think the unhappy Marine's face tells the story. The picture still looks like Kerry's finger pointing. Gee, ya think maybe the Kerry campaign auhta stay outta Wendy's? Seems like they get in trouble everytime they go there.

You are wrong, I haven't read this thread but from the first time I saw this picture, it is obvious Kerry is not pointing directly at the Marine. He is pointing off his left shoulder.
That is not to say he directly pointed at the Marine at any other time that was not captured on camera.

The truth? that is no picture/mirror frame. My 8th grade daughter could tell you how the perspective is off and just how badly out of square the frame would have to be for that to be so. Not to mention the fact that the picture frame would need to 'magic' in order to appear in front of the Marine like it does.

The truth is that Marine looks like he's about to twist Kerry's arm off his shoulder.

Sorry but you are wrong. He is pointing at the ribbons on the Marines left chest. Most of the stories published bring up the fact that the ribbons were discussed. Since the shirt is being worn by the Marine that would mean that he is pointing at him. The whole topic is ridiculous.

Kerry's index finger is pointing at the viewer. He is not pointing at the Marine. Anyone with a computer and zoom this pic and tell.

¡Por favor! EVERYBODY has a zoom. I do photo editing in Corel that can zoom 1600%. It makes no difference. Kerry's finger is not pointing toward the viewer.

Además, the idea that what we are seeing is part of a mirror frame on the window behind them is totally stupid because because it extends in FRONT of the Marine's collar.
