President and Mrs. Bush emerged from their Crawford, Texas ranch today (looking rested and ready to go) via Air Force One from Waco to Washington, and will begin a Midwest campaign blitz Friday, including visits to Ohio, Missouri and Michigan in just one day. Today he led a video conferencing meeting with his working group regarding the 9/11 Commission report, and is making plans to implement the changes they deem necessary, some by executive order, possibly as early as next week. The President also issued Executive Orders lifting the sanctions on Iraq due to the removal of the regime of Saddam Hussein and other developments.
Whitehouse.gov also did us a BIG favor today, by posting a series of Presidential pictures from the past which I will post for your enjoyment!
The Democrat lunacy is almost over and its another good day to be a Bushbot, so enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!
When you get there - Please just take a really deep breath and soak it all up for us. We will be right there in spirit.
You have to tell us what it feels like to be in that room with all the electricity that his presence brings when he's nominated and speaks!!
Holy COW! What fun you'll have! (Is MR lawgirl going too??)
I watched it. I think 7 NC votes went to Kucinich. He got something like 25 votes total.
I guees I'll just have to be content with watching it on the TV.
I'll e-mail you the ad I worked up. It's being looked at by the Headquarters, and I should be finding out soon what they think of it.
I'd like to put it in our newspaper every two weeks or so from the beginning of September until the election.....
If that is true, then the rest of the country needs to take note of how much North Carolina thinks of Kerry's lapdog John Edwards. I swear I want to break those thumbs of his off. He looks stupid holding them up like he does.
If you haven't already, check Drudge item on new book.
Also on Amazon. "UNFIT FOR DUTY" by John O'Neill & Corsi.
It will be out next month and already #2 on Amazon.
Another one out this week "The Many Faces of John Kerry"
by David Bossie. He has another good book out.
"I am going to the Republican national convention- remember?"
AWESOME!! You must take your laptop so that you can provide us with the 'daily dish' on all of the convention activities/attendees!!
I'd love to get your reaction to it!
What a tough choice that would be!
Mr Lawgirl is not going- we can't afford it! LOL!
Pippin- why don't you try to find a Freeper delegate that doesn't have a guest yet? That's how I hooked up!!
I'm not familiar with this 'Y' -- where do you suggest we meet?!
How do I find out who the FReeper delegates are?
The secret to watching is to look at it as humor. Terayyyyza just cracked me up. Half of her speech could have been for the Republicans! I have to admit last night's John was getting to me, talking about "Two Americas" and all that. BUT he too said many "republican" things.
I'll watch tonight's John as long as I can stand him. I hope he totally flips and flubs.
Your are a better, stronger person than me. I simply can not watch any of the convention. I know that I will just get angry and will get too upset. My husband says that I am sticking my head in the sand but I just can't handle it.
I copied and pasted from a site español.
You can copy and paste my upside-down exclamation points, or you can do a search - I use www.alltheweb.com. Then enter español.
Works like a charm.
I can get tildes, or whatever other punctuation marks I need.
Yes, the debates will be very interesting! Bush will SQUASH him with his good sense, humor, and above all, honesty.
Yes, I will. :) I can't wait to hear about it. They travel alot but I've seldom seen them look forward to anything as much as they both anticipated today. My BIL is a VN era vet and has been very emotional, in a good way, about the country, our military and President Bush ever since 9-11. I don't think he is unusual in that regard but I'm sure it has enhanced his appreciation of the times we live in now as opposed to the days of Vietnam.
Being more Likeable is very important in politics. If Kerry and President Bush are standing side by side we know who wins. President Bush can connect with people, John Kerry is a snob!
Anybody read that??? It just got pulled because it wasn't allowed to be copied in any form.
The guy had White House witnesses and guys in Viet Nam, and all kinds of info. CRAZY!!
