Just heard her say that to Brit Hume. She says that he put on the suit with the understanding that no photos would be taken. Now this shows up in the press. Brit asks, "Are you saying this is a dirty trick?" Her response "What do you think?" If so, then why is Kerry smiling in the photo for the camera? How dumb do they think the voters are?

"Get the butter, Barney!"
He reminds me of a giant skinny teletubbie in that getup.
Bwhahahahaha
I just thought of another caption of the Bush/Kerry pic. "Who do you think Osama fears?"
STOP!!! Doofus Overload!!
The devil Bush made him do it.
I heard that. And afterwards Brit said the pictures were cleared by Kerry staffers for Nasa's website.
I also heard someone say today (either Cahill of Beckel) that Ron Reagan was a Republican crossing partisan lines to speak at the convention tonight. It went completely unchallenged.
No Mary Joe, It Isn't!
And speaking of that Brit Hume interview with Mary Joe Cahill (uh-oh...a "three name person"), I'd like to know where Mary Joe gets this "We're a 50-50 nation" stuff from.
Over the years the expression "the silent majority" has been bandied about. The name alone should shut Mary Joe's mouth about this being a 50-50 nation, but there is no lie like the unconfronted or unrecognized lie. You see Mary Joe, that silent majority, and they are called a majority for a reason, are, namely, those who choose either not to vote or to not even "register" to vote and they don't fit into your nice little picture. There is no way to actually gauge what this majority want or desire.
Polls don't represent this vast number of voters because the poll takers usually ask if the person being polled is a registered voter or not. If the person isn't then it doesn't affect the poll either way, it's a wasted effort, and the silent remain silent as if they never existed to begin with. So much for the intent of "Democracy" and every vote counts, as if vote counting were actually what it were all about.
Anyone with a modicum of intelligence can look at the last census data and then look at the vote tallies for the 2000 election and find that about 1/2 of the nation actually voted. The other half of the nation said "fugedaboutit", as usual. At best we're a 25/25/50 nation. Those "eligible" to vote versus those "registered" to vote makes a big, or maybe even a huge, difference!
Which now brings me to the realm of speculation in Mary Joe's presumed 50-50 nation, the latest rage of "voter registration" drives, and the heretofore "silent majority". Have the unscrupulous among us found a way to exploit the voter registration system to ensure that even those who don't vote after newly registering are still counted as having voted? We know that even the dead have voted in the past, so it isn't beyond belief.
No, we're not a 50-50 nation, no matter you might say, Mary Joe. The strenuous efforts of the "Get Out the Vote" and the voter registration drives are the very evidence of the truthfulness of that. That doesn't stop you from telling another lie for the cause though, does it?
I would've liked to have addressed the NASA pictures now, but I'd like to see if I actually heard what I heard about the NASA pictures first. Did I hear correctly that they were only released to the Kerry campaign? If I heard correctly then I may comment on that too.
Something along the lines of..."How Can Mary Joe Cahill Be Such a Blatant Liar and Get Away With It?"
DITTO! Heard the same thing!
Need to add some buck teeth for better bunny effect.
The more they whine about it, the worse it is for them.
How many times has the story changed now? Earlier in the day the Kerry campaign was saying that the photos of the event were the property of and given directly too the campaign. Now they are claiming that they should have never been taken at all as that was agreed to!?!?
Kerry looks like a nerd, and he doesn't like it. So they make up stories about leaked photos and stuff, LOL, too funny.
So being forced to wear personal protective equipment to protect important assets is a dirty trick. What about the people that have to wear these things everyday?
Kerry is a dork because he worries about what he looks like. W would have just said, a man does what a man has to do.
Kerry is a dork.
These jackasses will say anything.
This story is really getting out of control. And I'm loving every minute of it! LOL.
