"What the heck does "Truth to Power" mean?"

I think it's supposed to be some kind of self-congratulatory statement about the courage of people to stand up to those in power. That might be true of people in a dictatorship, like the people in Tianamen Square, but in the United States it is empty and meaningless.

Who cares?

Older & single women. The substance mattered little, what connects is that she was spotlighted and was heard. She was boring and somewhat ordinary(in appearance and delivery), just like any audience member asking a question on Oprah. That makes her relatable in their eyes, regardless if they don't relate to what she said. Speech was boring, but I think it accomplished what it set out to do. Its the dems, emotion and images, not words, are what matter.
