Congratulations to a tough competitor. Good Job!
To: Smartaleck; neverdem
I am (somewhat) surprised that the French public didn't attack/sabotage his final ride by jumping in front of him or blocking the street.

The french are upset because Armstrong didn't get a License to peddle his A** off in France.

While I don't admire Armstrong as much as I used to, I applaud anything that enfuriates the French.
They must be "hopping mad" ;-)

Another Texan slaps down the French.
I hear the French are preparing to surrender to Armstrong any minute now.

He did have his adversaries...
"For once, the riders looked like they were having fun as the stage got under way in Montereau, south of Paris. Armstrong easy to pick out of the pack in his leader's yellow jersey and gold-colored aerodynamic helmet laughed and chatted with adversaries while his squad rode around to keep him safe."
They've accused him of cheating blah blah blah.

nyak nyak, I don't follow bicycle racing, but I'm going to savor this. Thank you Lance, as Reagan would have said: "you are a true American He-ro."

Way to Go Lance!
That's the way to show the American Spirit to those cheese eating french surrender monkeys, not to metion those faggot spaniards (trying to deter Lance by spitting on him!) who take their marching orders from Bin freakin' Laden
To: Smartaleck
Excellent. Way to go Lance. This is a great sports achievement. Course it doesn't hurt to stick your thumb in France's eye when an opportunity presents itself either. I doubt Lance was thinking of that though. Good job.

And he won this one with as much authority as any. No doubt he'll be the favorite if he chooses to race again next year.

Don't know about a translation....how about simply Schadenfrench? ;-)
