Bostonians' sweeping concerns over gridlock and other Democratic National Convention week headaches have been overblown by a ``mean-spirited'' media, Sen. John Kerry's daughter Alexandra said.
``I think it's sad that that's something that's been perpetuated in the press,'' Kerry's daughter told reporters during a conference call yesterday. ``I think sometimes the press likes to perpetuate controversy. Some of it has been mean-spirited.''
Kerry said she's heard her father talk about the massive road closures and other security woes. Still, the tight-knit clan is looking forward to the July 26-29 Democratic shindig at the FleetCenter.
``I think it is a positive celebration,'' she said. ``I think for people in some ways . . . it is an inconvenience. Certainly my family is very concerned about something that would disrupt people's lives.''
The senator's daughter made the comments while discussing her family's plans for the week leading up to the DNC. She will accompany her father on the campaign trail to his birthplace of Aurora, Colo., Sioux City, Iowa, and Philadelphia before hitting the red carpets in the Hub.
``We're going to go pave the way for the welcoming committee in Boston,'' she said of plans for her and her sister, Vanessa, to arrive in the Hub this weekend.

Some words of wisdom for Ms. Kerry: Yes, the media is mean. It is even meaner to Republicans, Conservatives and Christians. Last but not least, wear a bra.

Oh, My, Why would you show you have nothing?
An ugly babe, just like her Dad; and unlike Chelsea( who doesn't resemble her dad) we know she looks like a Kerry.

Well, when you don't wear see-thru clothing, they tend to leave you alone. Besides, this girls half-naked picture got less criticism from the mainstream press than what Jenna and Barbara Bush wore on Easter.Couldn't agree with you more. This girl doesn't have a clue...

the tight-knit clan So tight-knit that Kerry had his marriage to their mother annulled, asking the Church to declare that it was defective and never really existed in the first place.

Did his annulment turn his kids into bastards?
