Bostonians' sweeping concerns over gridlock and other Democratic National Convention week headaches have been overblown by a ``mean-spirited'' media, Sen. John Kerry's daughter Alexandra said.
``I think it's sad that that's something that's been perpetuated in the press,'' Kerry's daughter told reporters during a conference call yesterday. ``I think sometimes the press likes to perpetuate controversy. Some of it has been mean-spirited.''
Kerry said she's heard her father talk about the massive road closures and other security woes. Still, the tight-knit clan is looking forward to the July 26-29 Democratic shindig at the FleetCenter.
``I think it is a positive celebration,'' she said. ``I think for people in some ways . . . it is an inconvenience. Certainly my family is very concerned about something that would disrupt people's lives.''
The senator's daughter made the comments while discussing her family's plans for the week leading up to the DNC. She will accompany her father on the campaign trail to his birthplace of Aurora, Colo., Sioux City, Iowa, and Philadelphia before hitting the red carpets in the Hub.
``We're going to go pave the way for the welcoming committee in Boston,'' she said of plans for her and her sister, Vanessa, to arrive in the Hub this weekend.
Besides, this girls half-naked picture got less criticism from the mainstream press than what Jenna and Barbara Bush wore on Easter.
Alright, everybody who cares what Saggy Kerry has to say, raise your hand...
Go tell it to W, b*tch.
Lets see if I have this right. Kerrys daughter thinks its mean spirited that Media reports the traffic will be horrendous in Boston during the election? What a Moron she is a real chip off the old block.
Oh, don't worry!
They are only LITTLE PEOPLE, People who WORK*, that will be inconvenienced!
* Don't bother asking either of your parents what that Four-Letter Word means:
work ( P ) Pronunciation Key (wûrk)
n. Physical or mental effort or activity directed toward the production or accomplishment of something. )
A job; employment: looking for work. A trade, profession, or other means of livelihood. )
Something that one is doing, making, or performing, especially as an occupation or undertaking; a duty or task: begin the day's work. )
An amount of such activity either done or required: a week's work.
The part of a day devoted to an occupation or undertaking: met her after work.
One's place of employment: Should I call you at home or at work?
Oh yeah? Your old man would like to disrupt all of our lives, but we won't let him!
Local Boston radio (NPR)is reporting that only 11% of business are expecting business to increase. That's liberal speak for 89% think it will decrease.
I was thinking that this could actually affect the NH election results. There's a cadre of people who zoom down 93 to get into Boston early to work.
I need to see a picture of her. How old is she, she sounds like an 8 year old.
C'mon people - don't bash the candidate's daughter for her genetics.
She looks like the comedian David Brenner. How's that for mean ........ but true?
-PJ
OMG, she's RETARDED! Come on guys, don't pick on the disabled, I mean it.
That's right, Alexandra, very good! Say, can you catch this ball? Here ya go...do your best, now.
I'm sorry. Who are you again, dear?
I keep waiting to see the blog guy at WaPo get on the Kerry dughter bashing watch as he has done with the lovely twins.
Man hooters.
Its not bashing:
Barbara and Jenna are attractive and dress appropriately.
This one is an ugly dog who likes to show off her nipples, just like Chelsea.
"C'mon people - don't bash the candidate's daughter for her genetics."
No, it's more fun to bash her for her stupidity! Which, when you get right down to it, probably is genetics...
She sounds as concerned as "let them eat cake".
