If anyone ever investigated Bubba's pants, charges would be dropped (no pun intended) for lack of evidence.

"The mystery for me is why he didn't quietly distance himself from Kerry months ago." Maybe Hillary wanted him to be close to Kerry.

"...stepped aside on Tuesday as an informal adviser to Democratic presidential..."

When the Hell did he become an "informal" advisor to Kerry? All of the articles I have found until today refer to him as THE CHIEF FOREIGN POLICY ADVISOR to JOHN KERRY!

That's what we have to keep out in front. The Kerry people are backpedaling away from Pantload as fast as they can, making it look as if he were just on the fringes of the campaign. They have got to be in full panic mode!

Just checked MSNBC website where the stories are rated for interest. On MSNBC this is not a rated story.

Is there another site to rate interest in to KEEP it on the front page?

All we need to do is keep advancing the ball forward on this story, Kerry may self destruct all by himself with just the leakage!

Lanny Breuer says he was told by investigators since last October that they didn't suspect wrongdoing and they didn't want to treat this as partisan but then on the eve of the commission report this is leaked.

Document missing talks about successes, says Lanny.

Wolf asks how it disappeared. Lanny--the documents somehow got "entangled" in his other papers. A great patriot, not the most organized person. Doing this hard work alone. All of those documents were not more sensitive than the other documents, says Lanny.

Wolf says the suspicion is if he destroyed a document it was because it would be a crime if it was found in his possession. Lanny says that is a charge being made today (first I'd heard it put that way). Talks about returning.

3 months later the FBI decides to get involved. Breuer said they had every reason this would get resolved in a favorable way until yesterday.

Berger says work of 9/11 commission is too important to have him be a distraction. Also to the Kerry campaign.

Kerry statement in: Berger has served his nation and I respect his decision to step aside.

"Vote on this story. Give it a 1 so it gets off the front page fast."

What the hell else can they do? LOL Berger and Kerry04 are like two halves of the critical mass just about to slam together.

"When the Hell did he become an "informal" advisor to Kerry?"

I noticed that this just happened today, a few hours before they knew he would have to "resign" from an "informal advisory position" for which he was "unpaid".

Lehane is defending the indefensible?

1. Lehane is crazy, or

2. Kerry's got the problem that he knew about the investigation...but did NOT set Berger aside.

#1 is very possible, IMO.

You two have hit the hidden nail. This means they've all been covering for months. So much for ethics on the part of both Berger AND Kerry - not to mention the Clintons and the 9/11 Commission.

It proves, once again, that lib/dems are shiftless, cheating, lowlife.

Trouble is, the original document's still classified, so we can't compare it with Kerry's port security plan.

Well, I would ASSUME (I know, I know) that the Justice Dept investigators, as part of its review, will take Kerry's port security plan and compare it to the Clinton era document, and see if it was plagarized. If so, then would that be theft of classified material?
