A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

1) Click on the graphic to open the Calendar. 2) Once there you can click on any month and even click to the right to go into next year. Once you are in the month that you joined FR you will need to click on the number in the calendar and then an add item screen will come up. 3) In the next box enter your name in the "Calendar Text" field and then click on submit. 4) If any of the screens fail to load simply click on refresh in your browser and that will usually fix it. 5) If all else fails or simply if you want me to do this for you send me a FReepmail and I will gladly do it for you. ~Mixer

The Finest Gallery seconds the motion of Miss Billie to pray for you for your surgery tomorrow, and rapid healing afterward.

haha ! "Florida is ready for 2004" .....
If only it were true. I expect more 'RAT voter fraud there and everywhere.
Freepers will catch 'em and smack 'em though, I bet !
Will be thinking of you tomorrow and saying a prayer all goes well with
your surgery, Texagirl. Hugs!
Amen!

** Gotta Luv Life in a Small Town in The South **
~ Sunday Feel Good Story ~
In the Wednesday weekly newspaper here, was a nice story about Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart??
Yes - an employee in our Super Wal-Mart Garden Shop kept hearing a constant whining sound - cries for help.
Investigation by the employees there discovered the cries were coming from a storm drain outside, called friends from the City, and a rescue squad responded.
((Compassionate Conservatives abound here..:))
They labored for 30 minutes in the storm drain before successfully bringing out two mixed-breed puppies.
The woman employee happened to have recently had to give away her two Rottweilers, and promptly adopted the two darling little puppies (picture in paper).
New names??
You should have guessed -- "Wal" and "Mart." ..:))
There ya have the latest from Maggie Malone,
happily imbedded in the Deep South...

"Wal" and "Mart." It worked, Miss Maggie.
Ya got me feelin' good.
Beautiful ocean graphic, too, BTW.
Trusting the Lord to Bless your socks of today.
Chores are calling me and I'd best get busy before it gets too hot.

Also in our newspaper was a message from the Police department, pointing out
"leaving children in a vehicle unattended is not only very dangerous, but it is a criminal offense." If you see a child left unattended in a vehicle, call 911 immediately.
The City of Barnwell Police Department responds to numerous calls each year where children are left in a vehicle while the parent or caretaker goes into a business.
It goes on to point out the special danger during summer months, with severe damage or death quickly probable - the possibility of the child putting the car in gear, and of abduction by car thieves.

Bet you'd appreciate the photograph of the grinning man and his two sons, holding up the 10 lb. largemouth bass he caught in the 95-acre lake near downtown --- I lived 2 1/2 years right on that lake, complete with the resident 4 alligators..:))

"ooops!

darned letter thief" Boy, what nerve he has, Dave - - saw your original post and thought,
"What - the 'f'??" ..:))" is gone"?!!!
Sneaky fellow, he is - - reckon he one day will spill out all of his stolen letters (minus the ones he has erroneously inserted in our wurdz) in something absolutely brilliant, and be published?
