CAN SOME FREEPER FROM GEORGIA (OR ANYWHERE, FOR THAT MATTER) SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT ON THIS?

Sure. Cleland was voted out because of his liberal legislative voting record. Nothing more, nothing less.

But to democrats, pointing out Cleland's voting record is considered a "dirty republican attack".

"Looks to me like Slim Fast just gave her a big can of Whoop-$SS."

There's a graphic in there somewhere. LOL!

To Ms. Goldberg, Mr. BonJovi, Mr. Chase, Ms. Sarandon and all the rest of your libiot Hollyweirders who mock and disparage our country and president.

The silent majority is not silent anymore. We have voices, and we're using them. Free speech, baby!!!!!!!

By the way, don't be suprised if your collective bank accounts suffer a bit in the process.

Odd that the content of her comments is not mentioned. I have no clue what she said.

That's because the Dims are censoring her comments. They are the ones who are refusing to release the tape.

BTW, if you do a search you'll find many articles which mention some of her remarks.

"I expected the R word to surface with the first reports of any criticism of Goldberg."

Never mind the fact that the Dixie Chicks, Susan Sarandon and most of the others who have incurred similar wrath from the people have been white. I supposed that never even crossed the minds of these dumb*sses. Of course, I think we all pretty much know by now that it isn't about racism at all. It is about seizing on any opportunity to try and create racism. Anybody who bites on that bait anymore really is stupid and should be marginalized as completely irrelevant and counterproductive to the common good (seeing's how they're so concerned about the common good and all).

Anyone who didn't see this reaction from both dem candidates and Goldberg are clinically and legally blind.

For years, these entertainers have been allowed to get away with saying anything they want to say without fear of being held responsible. The fault is ours. We as a society have allowed everyone to think we do have freedom without responsibility. The entire abortion movement is based on this premise. Sleep with whomever you want to, for in the morn if you are with child all you have to do is take a pill or go visit a clinic, problem solved, responsibility removed.

We have allowed the freedom without responsibility notion to go on for so long now, that any attempts to return responsibility to us a free people is viewed as a violation of constitutional rights, rather than what it is, an effort to make people think before saying what they plan to say or take whatever actions they plan to take. The notion we have freedom without responsibility is a 8 year old child with a gun waiting to cause us a tremendous heartbreak and tragedy if we do not make more fervent attempts just like this one, to hold these people accountable for what they say; when they absolutely insist on behaving as a jackass instead of as an educated well thought person.

Whoopi Goldberg, for all of her ignorance, is not the problem, but a symptom of a greater problem that is nearly running amuck on us.

Good work to all of you who, like me, insisted Slim Fast refuse to keep Goldberg as a spokeswoman. We need to take action like this more often.

Rant off.

LOL! I love it. I guess that's why the RATs want the markets under government control too.

I was mad that Carl Cameron was very soft in this interview. Why he did not ask Edwards about John Kerry statement at the end of the fundraising "every performer tonight represent the heart and soul of America".

According to the post 'filth-fest' reports, both Kerry AND Edwards sung the praises of all who "performed". And didn't Breckgirl's wife open her piehole with some remarks? C'mon FoxNews, if we can't count on you..who can we count on to get the facts out there?

Exactly my thoughts. Why not let us hear (or at least read)the comments, preferably over and over again, ad nauseum, like all the liberal / democrat mantras we are forced to endure 24/7.

- I get a kick out of Dems trying to compare Whoopi's vulgar performance with Dick Cheney's teelling Leahy what to do with himself. -

At least Cheney had the gonads to say something DIRECTLY to Leahy's face...Whoopi needs an auditorium full of her hate-minded ilk to hide behind in order to insult the President.

I wonder if Whoopi would have made the same comments directly to President Bush, if she had the opportunity? Highly doubtful. In typical liberal, chicken-sh*t fashion, she'd rather spout off in front her cronies and her imaginary legion of supporters and fans rather than have any constructive dialougue - hey, sounds kinda like the NAACP, right?

Birds of a feather...

Very well-put. I agree. They simply believe that they are above reproach on every level. Of course, one of the nastiest words in their vocabulary is "capitalism", even though without it, they'd be ten toes up financially.Hypocritical, leftist scumbags-the whole lot of them.

Diversity promoter Asa Khalif, who has made headlines for accusing celebrities of insensitivity, cried foul in the Goldberg firing. "I smell racism from beginning to end," said Khalif, head of Racial Unity USA in Pennsylvania. "SlimFast must realize that black women have every right to voice their views."

Isn't it funny how the ones who seem to cry racism so much are the real racists? WHY do they continue to make race (e.g., diversity) an issue? Aren't the words,.... "black women have every right"....racist in its own right? For shame!

There is no discussion on FreeRepublic which cannot be improved by the addition of an appropriate Monty Python quotation. Thank you for the "Brave Sir Robin" bit.

""I find all this feigned indignation about 'Bush bashing' quite disingenuous," she said, noting the Bush administration has savagely gone after critics like former Sen. Max Cleland, Iraq whistleblower Joseph Wilson and ex-terrorism chief Richard Clarke."

Clarke Lied
Cleland Lied
Wilson Lied

Whoopie is just an idiot.

If she thinks she can take personal shots against the President and not expect a response just shows her how stupid she really is.

It is our rights as Americans that if we do not like something we can boycott it. It is a companies right to fire someone if they are a detriment to the company.

Whoopi is not funny nor is she relevant. Her rage was answered by a public not willing to put up with it. She got what she deserved.

"America's heart and soul is freedom of expression without fear of reprisal," she said in a statement.

Uh, Whoopi, a company paid you a lot of money to represent their product. You did something that hurt that company. You can still bash Bush to your heart's content, and no one will throw you in prison for it. But to think that your profane speech would carry no economic consequences shows a profound misunderstanding of exactly what freedom of expression represents.
