we were on vacation in Kauai last week, and went to Mass. The church was open air, the priest had on a lei, we were sure it was going to be some left wing feelgood kind of thing. that priest got in the pulpit and hammered the same sex marriage issue HARD, harder than i have ever heard it anywhere. he had fliers with the American Family Ass'n website poll at the back of the church and urged REPEATEDLY that everyone sign it and send it to everyone they know for signature as well. it was very heartening to hear this in such a liberal state as Hawaii.

The media freaked at the reaction to the endless parade of homosexuals kissing in sanfrancisco. They thought the public would cheer. They never expected to creat a backlash of 60% support for the FMA (per CBS poll).
So now the strategy is to run silent and try and generate a ho hum. It is an intentional news blackout.

Yes it is and that fact is all the more evident when we consider the media amplification we have been listening too. It's like being at a concert and the speakers all come unplugged.
