A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

4) If any of the screens fail to load simply click on refresh in your browser and that will usually fix it.

"Oh Nan, the baby's here, when was she born? What's her name? How much did she weigh? Do you have any pictures? I bet she's beautiful."

In case Nan doesn't get back online soon, Missy Emma arrived in this world 5 weeks early, weighing a bit over 5 pounds.
She and Kelly were able to go home, but Kelly had to return to the hospital last week, and has just gone home again.

Fortunately, both grandmothers live nearby, and are able to help.

Nan should post more pictures for us soon, and Yes!! Emma IS beautiful !!

I am happy to be back! Aqua, I fell in love with Virginia and North and South Carolina! If you've ever been to "golden" California, especially the central valley, you know that we don't have lush green trees and vegetation everywhere. California is beautiful in it's own way, but I enjoyed so much the green lush landscape back east. Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Mountains was just beautiful. Thick forests and breathtaking vistas! We picked a perfect destination for our vacation. :-)

Saw where you also went down to Charleston. That's not too far from me but we always seem to go the beach in Florida whenever we head south. Really hope to make it down there this coming springtime, haven't been there in over 30 years. The green foliage in this area is very addictive although it can cause alot of hay fever symptoms.
Have never been to California, never been further west than Tulsa Okla. where I'm from. My family always went south on vacation where my mom's family lived, then eventually moved to the south when I was 11. Hope to see the West one of these days.

"LOL!! The little fellow on the right is cuter! :^D"

Think it is the ears that bear a strong resemblance - -
or maybe the slope of the shoulders --

Do you remember the old toothpaste ads with Bucky Beaver?

What if everyone sent Mr. Kerry a tube of Ipana toothpaste --
thnk he would guess why?!
