Unconfirmed Report: Kidnapped Tri-State Soldier Killed

There are unconfirmed reports that a soldier from the Tri-State kidnapped in April in Iraq (news - web sites) has been killed, WLWT has learned.
Pfc. Matt Maupin, 20, of Batavia, Ohio, a member of the 724th Transportation Company, was captured April 9. His convoy was attacked by gunmen using rocket-propelled grenades and other weapons.
According to military representatives close to the Maupin family who spoke to WLWT, sources are reporting that the Al Jazeera TV network has a videotape of Maupin being shot.
The military has not changed Maupin's status, and the report of his death has not been confirmed.
A tape showing Maupin being held by guerillas was released about a week after Maupin was reported missing.

How true, there are yellow ribbons everywhere in Clermont County, Hamilton County too. And signs everywhere for Matt. I hope it's not true but I fear it is.

We are now INVITED Military assistance -- INVITED by the Sovereign Iraqi Government. We are no longer evil occupiers. We can now do things, AT THEIR DIRECTIVE, that we could not do when we were "running the show." Now, if they ask us to flatten Falluja, we can do it.
Now, it's possible that retribution for crimes like these, against Coalition Forces, innocent foreigners (such as the Korean, Turks, and the Pakistani), and Iraqi civilians, can be dealt "Iraqi-style" without the restrictions we had due to PC BS.

The President need to take swift action to circumvent this latest power grab by the supremes. He could just hold massive military court justice for the Gitmo crowd, and dare the supremes to come to Cuba.

Isn't the central headquarters of Al-Jazeera on the island of Qutar (sp?). Is that also where the USA Military Central Command is as well? If so, maybe our guys can just do a little practice work in their current backyard...? :o)
