Unconfirmed Report: Kidnapped Tri-State Soldier Killed
1 hour, 24 minutes ago Add Local - WLWT ChannelCincinnati.com to My Yahoo!
There are unconfirmed reports that a soldier from the Tri-State kidnapped in April in Iraq (news - web sites) has been killed, WLWT has learned.
Pfc. Matt Maupin, 20, of Batavia, Ohio, a member of the 724th Transportation Company, was captured April 9. His convoy was attacked by gunmen using rocket-propelled grenades and other weapons.
According to military representatives close to the Maupin family who spoke to WLWT, sources are reporting that the Al Jazeera TV network has a videotape of Maupin being shot.
The military has not changed Maupin's status, and the report of his death has not been confirmed.
A tape showing Maupin being held by guerillas was released about a week after Maupin was reported missing.
Additional details are forthcoming.

Please nothing, goddammit. I have HAD it. It's time to show the world what a cowboy does when you mess with his woman or his ranch or his dog.

It is eerie that Matt was being discussed here yesterday. My prayers to his family and for the safe return of all our military. God Bless them.

I'm 100% serious about this. What I think we should start doing is what the Russians did for so long. When those animals do something like this, not only do you find them, and kill them, using whatever means necessary. But, you find and kill their family. It sounds harsh, but, those animals only understand violence.

That's about all I can say.
I knew this was the strongest possibility, but I never stopped praying for Mr. Maupin, and kept looking for news bits for any info on him.
Sending prayers to his family.

Al Jazeera is not an official source.
A hostage execution is not confirmed until the "they will be brought to justice" statement comes from the White House.

It ain't just you -- I think quite a few good folk in this country are getting sick and damn tired of being used as a collective doormat.. Except for the liberals who rejoice at this kind of news. To them it fuels their hatred of our President. That hatred that will eventually consume them entirely.

Death needs to rain down on these people so quickly and overwhelmingly that they will actually experience hell just before they get there.

Murder is not an 'execution', IMO.

Except for the liberals who rejoice at this kind of news. To them it fuels their hatred of our President. That hatred that will eventually consume them entirely. And they actually fuel these terrorists. You'll recall just after the Korean was beheaded, there were some out on the streets of Korea blaming Bush and the United States. UNREAL!! They had signs and everything, and I didn't see ONE SIGN among these people that actually blamed the people who did the deed!!!!

The Israelis crush the house of the relatives of the suicide murderers, it does work!
The real heroes are the Men and Women of the US Military. These heroes stand between us and them. Good luck to all US service Military personnel, their lives should not be seen as cheap, their lives have to be avenged.
