Californians Give Kerry a not so warm welcome
John Kerry had a major fundraiser dinner this Thursday in Los Angeles; Kerry and friends, Neil Diamond, Barbara Streisand, and others met at the Walt Disney Concert hall, where they hosted an event for which tickets ranged from $2,000 to $25,000. This was of course, a great chance to show Mr. Kerry that not all Californians support him, and that when he comes here hes sure to encounter some resistant. As it has become almost a tradition around here, Kerrys presence brought on a grandiose demonstration of the FReeping abilities of us Californians.
This amazing demonstration was organized by our ferocious leader RonDog; the FReep went without a hitch. There were about 30 of us, the most notable were of course Saddam (played by RonDog), and Flipper the dolphin. Another highlight of the FReep was a pick-up truck adorned by several conservative messages, e.g. Kerry is Unfit; and a group of pro-lifers not far from where we were standing (and they had HUGE signs).
The media was everywhere, and they did several interviews. We all know that the most important thing in every FReep is to get our message heard as loud and clear as possible; and from this point of view this was clearly a success. One of the major advantages we had during this demonstration was the location; the Walt Disney Music Hall is one of the most dazzling buildings in Downtown L.A. and being across the street from such a place gave us a chance to sort of cut in. We made a lot of heads turn, and as usual we also made a lot of middle fingers rise. All together, this was everything youd want a FReep to be like.
Wow, that illustration is astounding!!! Did she use an airbrush or do it on the computer or some combo of by hand/digital? Whew, it's impressive!!
Great job. I love the Saddam outfit and all the signs. It looks like you guys were a huge success. Congrats!! Next time I know in advance I'll try to get a hold of the Protest Warriors in LA. I'm sure they would have loved to join forces with you. Keep up the great work!!
Y'all done good.
That is GA talk for a job well done.
Is Howard K formerly of "Elian's Dolphins in the USA"?
This pesky 9 to 5 is getting in the way of some good FReeping:-(
Actually they believe in guns. DiFI owns one and Jay Rockefeller has an AR-15. They don't want us PEONS with them....
that Flipper costume could be made for less that $30!
BTTT
LOL, those are great signs. Thanks for the report as well.

I didn't. :-)
And someone else brought a boom box, and was blasting that song as we FReeped:
Just A Gigolo
I'm just a gigolo
And everywhere I go
People know the part I'm playin'
Paid for every dance
Selling each romance
Ooh, what they sayin'And there will come a day
When youth will pass away
What will they say about me
When the end comes I know
They'll say "just a gigolo"
Life goes on without meI'm just a gigolo and everywhere I go
People know the part I'm playin'
Paid for every dance
Selling each romance
Ooh, what they sayin'But there will come a day
When youth will pass away
What will they say about me
When the end comes I know
They'll say "just a gigolo"
Life goes on without meI ain't Got Nobody (medley)
'Cause I ain't got nobody
Nobody cares about me
Nobody, nobody cares for meI'm so sad and lonely
Sad and lonely, sad and lonely
Won't some sweet mama
Come and take a chance with me
Cuz I ain't so badlyrics from joel.laclavere.online.fr
