Pray For The Korean. It's Now Sunset in Iraq. The Vermin Have Threatened to Kill Him.

It is 8:15 p.m. now, local, in Iraq. Sunset in Baghdad slated for 8:16 p.m. (12:16 p.m. Eastern Time Monday).

The poor South Korean captive in Iraq, Mr. Kim, may well meet a terrible fate at this moment. Please pray that these radical Islamist uncivilized animals are overwhelmed somehow by Divine Force, or hopefully; by US Marines or special forces (who would also be a divine force in this case).

Watching and waiting and hoping.......

I actually agree with Michael Savage on this one: we are already pathetically subdued in our response to seeing Americans beheaded. Bombs should be exploding and vermin should be dead in their streets for this.

I agree it will get us fired up. I am concerned about what has to be done to end this. This is a "horizontal" war. The enemy is everywhere there is someone that believes and implements the teachnigs in the Koran.

I don’t understand (but then again, I’m not a radical Muslim terrorist) what they expect to accomplish with these acts. I know that hostage taking is part of their culture - but do they really expect any country to give in to their wishes? It has to be a case of wanting to terrorize foreigners into leaving the country so the Saudi’s will become just another primitive backwater country like the rest of them - Good Muslims living in the 7th Century.

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that You have perfect knowledge of what this day will bring, and by the Power of the Holy Spirit, we pray that we will act and react in ways that are pleasing to You and that advance the cause of Christ.

We continue to pray that You will bring forth Kim in safety ... that You would cause his abductors to fear for their own lives ... may the might of Almighty God come upon them and he would be rescued from this horror.

Keep steadfast the mission of liberation and freedom, for the enemy is stirred to fury. May the defenders be ever vigilant, and successful, and undeterred. Root out this evil, wherever it is known and seen, and wherever it is hidden. Bring it to light, for it cannot flourish in the sunlight of truth. May the nations be single-minded in purpose, for a threat to one is a threat to all. We call upon You, O God, to guide us, lest we perish. In the Name of Jesus, we pray, Amen ...

Hope this guy gets out of this o.k.

For the life of me I can't imagine someone hurting another person who is trying to help them but that is the Islamic way so it appears.

There is a reason the Crusades happened.

It is high time Americans and the rest of the world understand this.

The word people on this thread are searching for is :

BARBARIANS

Our "thin veneer of civilization" will disappear if these barbarians are allowed to dictate on the world stage. For us to keep that from happening, we must steel ourselves to accept that we must be ready and willing if necessary to do what they did in The Crusades: "Kill them all and let God sort them out" with great apologies to those relatively powerless non-terrorists who live in their midst.

FReegards.

Having worked with the ROK Marines in Viet Nam in '69,

We had ROKs (White Horse) for security at Sau Huyenh in 1967 - they quieted the place down real quick. We had depended on local ARVN force and the occasional 1st CAV sweep. The ROKs sent in a fire team. They set up a small tent on the overlooking hill, sent a message to the town that they were there - and no more sniper fire.

YES...you see the bigger picture...this isn't a "hostage situation" that can EVER be resolved...they (islamic fascists pigs) don't want to "resolve" anything...they want to CONTROL the image and media...they are empowered to have the media at their beck and call...ALL the while we have the LIBERAL MEDIA machine here telling US that we are too "fragile" to watch the attacks in NYC on our own television sets!

I think EVERY day at the precise time we ought to AIR the attacks on OUR country men and women on OUR soil!

NOOO we have the world's media showing this petrified young man pleading for his life...OHHHHHHHH that is to become acceptable "image" of war whereas the attack on the twin towers is not...propaganda from two fronts...

He was dead the moment he got caught. The terrorists know there will be no response to their demands, they just want to make them as a formality before killing their hostage for propaganda purposes. They have to keep up the morale of the faithful and try to scare the weak-kneed among the allies.

Correct, we keep forgetting that the objective of terrorism is not the damage done or the lives lost but the mass instillation of fear; in this regard, we have already lost the war.

Is he christian. I know it dont matter I will pray for him anyway. No one deserves to die that way, not even leftist-commie demorats. I too have served in south korea, I really like the people there and yes YOU DO NOT WANT TO P*SS off A ROK Soldier. I am serving in Iraq right now......between the two assignments I like Koreans way better than Iraqis. One liberal was posting on a website that the middle east has the highest illiteracy rate and instances of cousin marrying, xenophoic, koran thumping and racist, he called it Islamic alabama or islamaba.....I was a little offended by the alabama references but maybe thats how you have to reach liberals. Oh yeah I work with Macedonias......those are some tough *sses! they dont take any Sh#t either
