I have an argument with this. There are far too many modifiers in this sentence. The sentence should read "It was hard for the Islamic fascists to find ideological suppoirt in the West given their agenda of primordial barbarism."
We have known about Islam for many centuries. We'll all be better off when we allow ourselves to recognize that and act accordingly.

I've been thinking about the solution to the kidnapping and execution of Americans for a while and today it hit me.
For every American kidnapped and executed, we will take

How many more dead American civilians do you want to see?
If 3000 wasn't enough for Afganistan and Iraq would 30,000 be enough, how about 300,000.
How many dead Americans would it take for them to approve of going straight to the heart of darkness and ripping it out?
Several thousand would probably get their attention. Equally likely, attacks that threaten us all, bombings at shopping centers, restaurants, trains, buses, even with more limited casualties.
Of course once the left's attention is focused, you shouldn't assume you'll like their solutions. Likely more appeasement.
Excellent article. I just sent a letter to the WH regarding the latest kidnapping. We've got to start responding and making the Muslim terrorists - and, unforunately, the ignorant populations that support them - realize that this is no longer permissible.
They're kidnapping and killing Americans in the Middle East now. Having gotten away with it for several years, soon they'll be kidnapping and killing us in Europe, as well. Unless we respond, they will achieve their goal of making the world unsafe for Americans. (Or for non-Muslims, ultimately.)
