I haven't seen any by Ramirez of the L.A. Times yet, but am looking forward to seeing what his take on this momentous event is.

I'm actually shocked that the Minneapolis Star-Tribune would print something complimentary about Ronald Reagan, even in memoriam.

I guess even the worst of us have our moments of lucidity.

I don't blame them for their change of heart. Time alone has proven Reagan right in almost every decision he ever made. Imagine: when Reagan left office, he had the highest approval ratings ever measured. And we had no idea that the entire Soviet Empire would begin to collapse later that year. The critics tried to say that Reagan had nothing to do with that, and that it only a coincidence, or at best an inevitability. But now we are beginning to learn of the decisive body blows that the Gipper secretly dealt to the Reds. There's just no dismissing him anymore.
