The cartoons in your post are all so positive. History revised? Some of these cartoonist drew negative images of Reagan while he was president.
Perhaps some of them have had an epiphany? Personally, I've moved right over the years.
I don't blame them for their change of heart. Time alone has proven Reagan right in almost every decision he ever made. Imagine: when Reagan left office, he had the highest approval ratings ever measured. And we had no idea that the entire Soviet Empire would begin to collapse later that year. The critics tried to say that Reagan had nothing to do with that, and that it only a coincidence, or at best an inevitability. But now we are beginning to learn of the decisive body blows that the Gipper secretly dealt to the Reds. There's just no dismissing him anymore.
